Hey Dayyan, I’m looking for a good lizard breeder out here in bc, I’m in Kelowna, but can get stuff shipped from Vancouver area I’m sure, you have any recommendations? This is the toughest part of getting into the hobby I’m realizing. I don’t know who (breeders) to trust

Have you tried talking to Clint of Clint's reptiles? I cannot imagine him not being interested in talking with you about this situation. These are some of the cutest lizards I've ever seen. And there is a lizard called the Stargazer. That is apparently is incredibly expensive but they look so much like a dragon without wings. And these little cuties that you've got have the same look to them as the Stargazer. That beautiful little dragon head is what I'm talking about. And don't get me started on those adorable eyes. Get a hold of Clint

Get a male,(white eye) and keep them as a novelty item. Sell or trade the babies as needed, you can still focus on your red eyes, while still doing a service for the other species.
Some of my best pets were accidents/"unwanted" animals. So keep the female, get her a mate, and carry on

This video is an example for the skeptics. We keep these animals to reduce harm on native populations. Not EVERYBODY in the hobby is perfect, but those who deeply care should be doing that important work.

I’m so late to the party but I’m currently using your videos to be able to start my own breeding project with crocodile skinks here in Los Angeles. I’m hoping to get a female for my current male so that I can avoid getting wild caught animals in the future and begin growing a captive bred community here in the states. Thank you for being one of the few to document this series and also show the rest of us how to breed these animals into captivity. Hopefully they become a popular pet in the future and can be tamed to a degree to even that of bearded dragons and leopard geckos.

I think this is a wonderful idea and video. ♡ I feel the same about WC compared to CB. I think that this is a good endeavor though and the best reason to deliberately get wild caught individuals. Plus, it's not like you are doing it for money or for morph stuff, it's because you want the best for the wildnpopulation, which means we need CB options at competitive prices that will be healthier and happier than WC who have to acclimate. Overall it is just a good idea in the long run, and if you have the skill/knowledge/capacity then it is wonderful if you want to put in the work and time to make it happen. Anyway, I totally support it! An I may be interested in some one day too lol bc the WC thing is one reason I've not considered them more. :)

I was so happy watching this! I had a Red Eyed Croc Skink girl who passed away just under a week ago. She was my first, I was actually just about to get her a male and try to breed them myself! I'm still in two minds about buying a pair, still hurting over the loss of my little one as it was so sudden :( I do have a little tortoise to keep me company for now :)
