The newer Abode Gosford valve doesn't have a hex nut on the outside. Seems to have an outer brass collar with a inverted hex end, what tool undoes this?

If you’re having trouble releasing a valve from one of our taps, you will probably have an issue with limescale holding it in place. The best way to release this is to soak a cloth in a 50/50 mix of warm water and white vinegar, wrap this around the affected area, give the cloth a squeeze to allow the mixture to penetrate and leave it in place for around an hour, this should break down the limescale and allow the valve to be released. Please ensure you give the tap a rinse and wipe down afterwards with warm soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth.
