If you’re having trouble releasing a valve from one of our taps, you will probably have an issue with limescale holding it in place. The best way to release this is to soak a cloth in a 50/50 mix of warm water and white vinegar, wrap this around the affected area, give the cloth a squeeze to allow the mixture to penetrate and leave it in place for around an hour, this should break down the limescale and allow the valve to be released. Please ensure you give the tap a rinse and wipe down afterwards with warm soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth. Did you figure this out? I believe mine is a braided wire not the black silicone one on the video

Same here, although the beeping stopped when I switched it off at the mains, waited for 10 seconds and switching it back on again. The filter light is still flashing though

Neither will mine mate, and sick of being in a queue on the phone - you figured a solution out yet? Mines not boiling automatically now because the filter lights wont reset

If you hold the up and down arrows at the same time for a few seconds it should reset the filter warning

@@andywaters3849 worst part was I found out I’d done exactly the same.....

@@jemward5615 Extensive google search reveals this is the same as the redring reditap 3 in 1 and they don't bother with the filter. Seems a completely unnecessary expense profit driven. I just acquired a twin pack of filters at £78 delivered. I won't be bothering next year.

@@aitchr8770 I have only recently had to replace the boiler unfortunately. I think the thermostat was stuck open and wouldn't stop boiling. The new replacement is smaller and so far has been good.
