Nobody knows how to make people happy like KC and the Sunshine Band... The 70's were wonderful. So glad I was able to experience it.
Man, it’s hard to believe I wasn’t even a teenager yet when KC & TSB was burning up the charts. My older brother was into rock like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and he used to make fun of me relentlessly for liking this band, but I didn’t care. How can anyone NOT feel the groove when they play!!!

From the beginning I liked this band KC and The Sunshine Band, the best disco band, I have the complete collection on vinyl and CDs. and the best were from Miami.
I have to say,,,this music is more funk than disco,,I love it and it makes me stomp my feet ,puts a smile on my face. After all these years still fun to listen. TIMELESS MUSIC.

I must say that at 64 and overweight, Harry Casey still does a damned good job maintaining disco era stage presence. Yeah he's no longer the skinny keyboard playing dance machine of the 70's BUT......who would be 40+ years hence? Keep on playing and performing Harry for as long as you can. Kudos!

@Laura Hastings because when you are a musician (which I am) it's an accomplishment to still be going strong despite adding weight and achieving a more advanced age. No left handedness there at all. I'm overweight and 64 and can still rock. Trust me, Harry takes it as a full blown compliment.
He's doing real good these days at 63 or 64 years of age, although it was not necessary for him to mention his age, he did so anyway. I think the comment about him being overweight is not necessary either, Yes, he is wearing a black shirt to camouflage his girth, but i'd rather not see it anyway. And yes he is no longer skinny but he cooks really good and still has a little bit of money in a bank account for him and that lovely lady you saw dancing. Yes his hair line is weird looking but I think he still has some of his own hair although I'm not sure what the natural color of it would be without coloring highlights/dye. So lay off the dude please.

In 1980 we went on are annual spring high school marching band trip Washington D.C. On the way back we stopped at Kings Dominion. Guess who was doing a concert there? It was K.C. and the Sunshine Band. Good times and great memories. We were late getting back to the Greyhound buses and the band director had the driver move the buses to the other end of the parking lot out of site. We thought they left us. About ten minutes later the buses rolled up. Thanks Mr. Allen. You scared the shit out of us.
