This week, I’m honored to welcome to the show one of the most dynamic peak performance speakers in America today.
He’s a man who has done pretty well for himself. He’s got one of the TOP PODCASTS on social media, is a bestselling author, and has got a new book coming out JUNE 1 called THE POWER OF ONE MORE.
That’s right, this week’s guest is ME!
I’m FLYING SOLO like what I used to do a lot when I first started online.
All kidding aside, I thought it was time to share with you some of my thoughts about a variety of things that have been on my mind lately.
I hear from a lot of you daily. I try to respond to everyone but sometimes I don’t get a chance to go as deep as I want to. So consider this week’s podcast as a way to answer as many of your concerns, questions, and issues as possible.
The most important overriding message I have for you is one of HOPE. If you’re going through tough times now, it’s critical to remain hopeful. Be GRATEFUL for what you have. If you take a few moments to look at your life, you’ll see just how BLESSED you are.
Add what I’m about to tell you and combine these two to find new ways to energize your life.

I am a 53-year-old young lady who is at a crossroads in my career. I am making a six figure income at my current career, but I'm miserable. I have a dream to start my own business as an interior decorator, and my heart is calling me to help people in this business with some pro bono work. However, I know the process to implement this business will be significant. I stumbled across this video by complete accident, and I was literally in tears by the end knowing it was no accident this video "happened" to pop up on my CZcams feed. Thank you for all the work you do. You have given me complete clarity for the future.
Go for it. You can do it. I have been on my job for almost 30 years and I don’t even scare six figures a year. I’m 51 but I know I’m meant to do more. I’m excited about taking the journey!!!

When i was in medical school, there was this student that stutter...but what i Loved about him was in confidence. He would stand up in class and talk with a lot of confidence despite his stutter...Who gives a fuck..if you have something to say,, GET UP AND SAY IT.....fuck it

Stuttered the majority of my life.
Now, I smile and breathe. I have fast thinking mind and have learned to breathe more. It’s helped so much.
It took me going through a devastating divorce, and truly being brought to my knees to understand exactly what you're talking about. Your content has helped so much along the way, it is truly appreciated!!! I've never felt stronger than I do now, pushing through each day and controlling my thoughts in a positive way. Things dont happen to you, they happen for you, when you let them. 💯

I believe the fear behind all of those fears is fear of abandonment. It occurs when we’re born by separating from our Mother and then is reinforced by life, some more than others. It’s time I leave this story behind.

Fear stops people in their tracks! If you could just be brave for a little while...The deep end doesns't look so deep afterall. Fear and pain are definately lifes biggest challenges but if you can find the strength and courage to move through it there will always be a better tomorrow. Ed you are amazing and I love your content.

I needed this. I’ve recently took a huge financial risk in real estate and have done something no one in my family had done. Felt like I dead gonna drown and fail at times. This has brought such encouragement. Thanks Ed!
As a child I was a constant quitter. So this hits home to me. I have learned at my age now to never quit and stick it through. If at the end it doesn’t work. Find a new way.

I am almost in tears at work today. I felt moved to click on this video and when you started to talk about the deep end I knew in my spirit why I had to watch this. This is my last week working a traditional job because I am starting my own business and I've been saying I feel like I am about to jump into the deep end and I hope Jesus catches me. After seeing this I know I am absolutely supposed to jump in and swim my butt off! 🏊🏾♀️

Thank you for this! You are one of my favorites to listen to! I started this work and listening to your content about a year and a half ago and this is so true. About 6 months into this work, God gave me the vision of what I am supposed to build and create made for me. I see how all the things I have been through brought me to this point to be able to produce it. I have been working hard, so hard on it. I've been learning new skills I am committed to this because I know this is my contribution to the world. I've been a one woman show working on this. I decided I'm going to do it whether I have help or not AND I received a call from a friend that introduced me to someone and helped me with I need to do next, he is talking to the right people for me and is making meetings for me ! I didn't even ask him to do this, he just believes in what I am doing. How amazing is that! God is sooo good! When God gives you the vision run with it, he will open doors you won't even think about :)
Ed, I needed to hear this. I’ve been wanting to do something great and inspire. It’s hard to make the jump as I’ve wanted to for a while now. Starting and jumping it scary and I just need to do it. Ed great message. I plan on using the deep end scenario with my youth athletes! You were pretty fired up that was great! Your message today about outlasting the temporary is so true. I have had a business that just before covid was about to explode. It did not and almost went away but now it is coming back hard and is ready to explode. Defintiely viewed things as temporary and just kept at it.

Love this Ed! I have listened to this at least 15 times in the past few months! I’ve been struggling in business for almost 4 years now. I started my first when I was 17, and I have tried and done just about everything I know to make my business grow but I’m still not where I want to be but I can feel this year something will be different. This encourages me to not give up!
What is your business? For some reason i find it more interesting to help others than myself. I got into digital marketing and wish i did when i was younger. i love that i don't have a set salary or 9-5 schedule.
So what do you do? Is it a good business model? Don't be afraid to share your goals. Seek advice, role models etc. Not saying i am a role model or have good advice. You never know what may come out of a conversation. I got into vending machines that sold mostly organic items and it was a bad business model. It's all based on locations and most locations already had a machine. Also, people mostly care about brand name items not healthy choices. Kids want Reese's not Anne's Peanut Butter Cups. Coke not Zevia Cola. So i lost money when i sold the machines.
This was so therapeutic. Keep these going. Now time for me to go jump into the deep end on a familiar emotion that doesn’t serve me.
It’s still important to take the time to address those emotions!

It happens to all of us. I’m 50 yr Old and went through much of it in my 40s. The light at the end of the tunnel is as such.. at first the regrets set in. Later, you learn how to manage those feelings of regret and somehow come to an “acceptance” of “this is how things turned out, and it’s meant to be this way”... When things begin to turn around and really get better is when you transition out of the “acceptance” phase and into a phase of “embracement” - where you now have learned to truly “embrace” all that has been given to you or not given to you and you begin to find ways to live a life that uses and make the best of what circumstances were handled to you. I know it sounds cliche but moving into this phase has helped me tremendously. For me, it was being single at 40, never married, no children, etc. I eventually came to the mindset that I was going to wake up every day appreciating my time given to improve myself and make the best body - physically, emotionally and mentally for myself. Nowadays, I’m at a point in life where I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s ultimately the best position to be in. I also found it helpful for me to volunteer at a senior living facility, and a homeless shelter. You’ll find it helps to take your mind off of your issues by helping others cope with theirs.
