If you follow the theory that "No Time to Die" was a pretty faithful adaptation of the book "You Only Live Twice" with some tips of the hat to the "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" marriage story... then the book of "The Man With the Golden Gun" kind of points out the way Fleming was going with it. Great trailer you've cooked up here. Who knows where Broccoli-Wilson will decide to go with it.
Wow, that looks better than the last 3 or 4 Bond movies combined. If only Craig had never met Phoebe Waller-Bridge...
It’s unfortunate how Craig nailed bond very well in casino Royale and casino Royal is arguably the best bond movie out there yet he finished his bond carrier with a movie I can’t even remember it’s name.

Well said! It's sad but true that his era ended as such, but as Haphazard said in an old video, it seems to be The Bond Cycle that causes such a decline in movie quality during the actors' eras.

I'd give it a watch!
If they were to continued where Craig left off, a sure way to get it done would be a more faithful adaptation of _The Man With The Golden Gun,_ which literally opens with an amnesiac Bond brainwashed by the Soviets.
That would be a nice coda for Craig, but I wouldn’t want the new Bond to carry the baggage Craig’s era left. Better to just reboot it and start with the next Bond already established as an experienced 00 agent, much like how DR. NO did that IMO.

Im sure that at the end of the last movie there was the usual plate saying James Bond will return. Do they mean Bond or just a new 007?
They're so committed to isolating Craig into his own time loop that I wouldn't be surprised if they just start the next one with the new actor opening his eyes in the morning and just carrying on with no reference to the previous stories whatever. So Gen X had its Bond who catered to the Milennial zeitgeist and the work of the future films is reincarnating the character of Bond alive and thriving into the Milennial, Gen Z and Gen Alpha mindset. As for us X'ers .. we've had our six(OK five... as usual we got shortchanged!)!

Well made! IMO, the Craig era should have ended with Skyfall.
The following movies were much weaker story wise and the box office returns would seem to agree!
And they were half in and half out on where to put Bond... sort of treating him as a cold war dinosaur figure living long past the end of history.. and then all of the sudden.. THERE is history kicking up dust again with names like Vladimir & Vlodymyr once again making history again and the action moving to Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Romania, Uzbehkistan.. cities we've never spent time in like Almaty or Tashkent. Banks in Wichita being robbed from Pyongyang. Now they have to figure out how to reboot the character in a world where the West has the wealth, tech, and naval gazing obsessions and identity crises while the developing world is still OLD SCHOOL.. blending the two realities ... will the new Bond be Conneryesque unknowable, Moorelike amenable or Craigian complicated?!

That’s true cause never saw completely if died or survived his suspose death we that thought and think he in even thou they had funeral and burial for him plus mi6 knows he can’t be near or see his love interest anymore that his child while they are both still alive or bond! Plus it did say at end of film of no time to die that message said bond will return again!
I still think a reeboot js the way to go, but this is an absolutely clever concept! Really well made!

the opening scene seeing Dave Batista killing bonds woman and child he takes over Spector.......bond wasn't killed in the final scene it was his double so the story unfolds :)
This was very funny, I do think Idris Elba would be a great Bond villain/antagonist.
