Well right, I mean there's a lot of great female characters in the history of film that I wouldn't want to be played by a man. Same thing goes for bond, stick with what has worked. Now, I'd be all for a female spin off from bond that could be it's own franchise. That was the plan for Halle Berry's character jinx that was in die another day to be in at least one solo film and I think Halle Berry had signed on for it, but because die another day did terrible at the box office that film never happened.
I dunno, just watched Prey and Amber Midthunder is as much of a badass predator slayer as Arnie imo. 😊
I hope they get someone who isn't really that popular yet, so he can own the role.

The solution would be to have Henry Cavill as 007 and in each film feature another actor to play another '00', as Sean Bean did as 006. Idris Elba could play 008. This would take care of sexuality (male or female) and skin tone.

Most definitely I will choose Tom Hiddleston to be next James Bond. He got the looks, dress smart, handsome, and cunning just like the character Loki.
He will be the first 007 using his cunning ways to beat and outsmart the bad guys .villains. We have seen enough 007 beat villains with brute, muscle strength. Now we want a different role from 007.
When I saw Daniel Craig in Layer Cake, I said, There's the next James Bond. Then he becomes Bond but he is this too muscled, thuggish, brooding guy. I never liked
any of his Bond films. I grew up with Bond and they were the perfect date movie. Good looking guy for girls, sexy women for the boys, great new song, stylish
intros and action, action, action. And they were funny, not all the time but there were some good laughs in there. Now they are too serious. It started with Brosnan.
He had to fall into love with the main girl, each time. And the second Dalton film was too dark, all about revenge. Let's go back to having some fun with the character.
As far as I am concerned, that whole D. B. Cooper thing in Loki was Hiddleston auditioning to be Bond. And he nailed it.

Too old now, but I agree they should have picked him instead of that perpetually bad Daniel Craig whose Bond turned into a mad psychopath. I didn't like any of Craig's Bond movies, Bond should not be all dark and psychotic, he also made Bond look like a drunk which contradicts his claimed physical ability. I would like to see Tom Holland in the role starting a brand new Bond venture, complete with smart witty lines, some sophisticated humour and less of the Craig psychotic rants.

Tom Hiddleston is a superb actor and showed us what a perfect spy he'd be in The Night Manager. Next choices for me would be Henry Cavill or Rege Jean-Page - they're both well suited and super charismatic.
Neither are we'll suited, Cavills too big and Rege isn't a pasty white Scotsman, not a knock on either, they're both great actors, but not Bond, I'm sticking with Richard Madden or if it can't be him, Jamie Dornan.

I saw Thunderball on the big screen when I was in grade school and it's been a part of my life ever since. This is a wonderful place for them to be in because there are several excellent choices. I just think that if they do anything to radically change who Bond is, it just won't be Bond, just another high budget movie. I'm seriously liking Sam and Henry, so gorgeous. I like Aiden Turner and Richard Madden also, but if they chose Idris, he'd be superb and his age would not be an obstacle if they didn't make it one because he's very fit. I do have to say though, in actuality, really not a bad bunch to choose from. My favorite Bond was Sean Connery. He had me at that grin. RIP Sir.
With the way DC is going without a planned superman or justice league movie in the next 5years which will continue to age like that, I think Henry Cavill can play the character, if he can play 3 seasons of the Witcher without DC announcing a new movie then he can play James bond too...whenever DC wakes up they can call him 💯🤞

Having watched him in the first episodes of "SAS: Rogue Heroes" on BBC, I would suggest Jack O'Connell. He has played military figures in several movies and over the years has developed a lot as an actor. In "SAS: Rogue Heroes" he does a very good job of portraying the real life Paddy Mayne - one of the founding members of the SAS in the second world war. Jack captures the man of action that Mayne was but also the more inner tribulations that he went through and I think this would be suitable for the more all rounded character that Bond has become in recent films

Tom Hardy 45yrs, 46yrs in 2023 + 12yrs will be 58 yrs…and he has that chipped in shoulder look, Hiddleston comes off fake personality, insincere and a regular show-off. So both Toms make good Villians /Nemesis rather. So is M. Fassbender is 45yrs old, will be an interesting To watch as the Nemesis or as the NEW “M”, Bond’s boss. The others actors won’t be that popular draw ticket sales (J.Dornan is 41yrs old same as Cavill, if lm E.Producer, spending that amount $, I would choose Cavill, that Bravado Persona already Sells Ticket before it began). Anyway JAMES BOND FRANCHISE IS A YOUNG MAN’s GAME…also not for women actor. Nothing is as Suave as an ALPHA Male James Bond, Men wants to be like him, Women wants to be with him, it’s for the same reason why this franchise last that long, it became an iconic institution!!

Pierce Brosnan his first movie Golden Eye as James Bond he was 42 years old.
They totally missed Jamie Bell. He would bring a new flare to the roll, but Cavill could do it too. I would think the Amazon failures would show just how fans wants things certain ways in the films and television.

That's what they just did. Have you not seen Casino Royal? It shows Bond cutting his chops getting his first two kills to become a 00 agent. Then the movies follow Bond grow as a 00 agent.

Casino Royale is one of my favorite Bond movies. It brought some long needed freshness into the Bond franchise. Unfortunately the later installments did not manage to keep up the tone that was set in CR. And NTTD is just a bad dumpster fire and sh1ts all over Bond and what makes Bond iconic. I prefer the older Bonds, where every movie had its own story. The attempt to connect all of the Daniel Craig movies into one, big story already fell flat in Spectre. And the "end" of that attempt is just bad. They blew it.

Only three real options for the next James Bond: Henry Cavill, René-Jean Page and Tom Hiddleston.
My favourites are: Tom Hiddleston, Rege-Jean Page, Tom hardy and Idris Elba. If Cillian Murphy is chosen, I'll be very dissapointed. I see no sense in having a female Bond, because it's not a new role, some things like NAME are predefined. It would be as wrong as choosing man for Wonder Woman role.

I grew up watching all the old Bond movies with my dad and was actually shocked the first time I see Craig as the new Bond, remember thinking omg what would my dad think when he sees this guy! It was totally out of my traditional Bond comfort zone, but the way he carries himself with that face as he dropped a couple of bad guys made me realize that this guy is the new break through - I could never go back to the classic, sly "charm-ness" ever since, as Craig couldn't have put it more nicely: "I gotta start looking like I could actually kill somebody" (paraphrased). Little that I know, that I will be experiencing a harmless funny guy turned action hero three times in my life. There was Die Hard, Speed and now James Bond. Didn't know that formula stood the test of times.
The problem with some of these new candidates is that they're too gorgeous and pretty, well known chads if you will. Their "badass" traits have been shoved down our throats for years through countless youtube influencer channels showing clips and images from other movies - this is not a holy grail formula to the franchise in question. The fact that some of them are well known is already a recipe to distractions. Some of them have "preyish" facial expressions to fit into the roles of "utterly good conscientious heroes" and their faces seem like they invest a lot of time in skin care and not coming out of an inner war zone. For this, I'm surprised the narrator was worrying too much for the candidate's ages. I'm no old guy and of course I don't wanna see grampa playing Bond but there's still a sweet spot where the only men who could achieve it is by arriving there in one piece - dunno, maybe I'm too biased for the current best working formula that apparently has worked wonders for a record breaking 15 years straight in a Bond franchise! (Though other actors played the most titles). The current Bond is no prey nor joker nor even a good guy, he's a predator's predator who's been through life. Did you noticed the subtle scars running along Craig's face as Bond? No, I bet you didn't.
That's because they aren't there. But imagine how you could caught that trick question sooner had I mentioned the more prettier casting candidates.
Also I note these pretty sculpted faces aren't rugged sculpted faces, tall herculean bodies (which in fact is so un-special-forces-like in real life) could be detected a mile away by guys making them less convincing as a badassmf secret assassin, so I hope they get actors that appeal to women psychologically, ones who (and this have been observed in forums talking about Craig) they could hate but also get them wet at the same time just by demeanour - instead of casting runway male models. Please remember I'm talking about an overpaid chauvinistic, high ranking commander, secret government assassin story character with deadly calmness, mouth shut, and you can only see the past troubles in his head through his eyes as he ends people's lives in order to save the world - I'm not talking about general philosophy of life here.
And lastly for the love of God, this might offend people, but no hunter eyes and no peenus = you could make them 005, 006, 008, or even an interesting retro 001 "prequel" for that matter to freshen up the franchise... but not 007. No deal.

Sam Heughan deserves a chance but I'm a big Henry Cavill fan and I think he'd be the perfect Bond. After seeing him in the Witcher, in Mission: Impossible, as Superman, and as Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes, and that he is no longer encumbered with the Superman or Witcher roles, I think the experience from those characters gives him all he needs to be the next 007!

I think Tom Hiddleston would be the perfect, next James Bond. If you take the time to watch the 2016 limited series, The Night Manager, as I did when originally released, I thought even then he would make a great James Bond.

Have noticed that there is a certain coldness in the persona of James Bond when Daniel Craig took it on and he was so good in depicting this side of Bond. If they want to continue with this personality of James Bond, then Tom Hiddleston is perfect for this.

The actor doesn’t have to look like Daniel though. Daniel Craig looked nothing like Pierce Brosnan when he took the role. What’s important is that they get the actor’s age correct. Tom Holland is way too young to play James Bond. He’s also way too petite of an actor to be considered a physical threat as well.
Rege-Jean Page and Henry Cavil are both top contenders who have the correct age, stature and looks for the part. Henry Cavil playing Superman might be problematic though as all of James Bond’s actors are mostly known for being “James Bond” and not other characters they played.

Jamie Dornan is the clear choice for me. Been saying him for a few years now. For me they missed a trick by killing off Craigs arc, they should have let him live but then just re cast as the dynamic and motive for the character would have completely changed given the fact that he had a Daughter now. It would have been interesting to see for another movie or two. NTTD had left me feeling a bit stale about the franchise also. I would like to see them do maybe 1 or 2 10 part series about Bond before he was a double 00. It would be good to see his recruitment into the SBS and a few missions he has been on before eventually being recruited into Mi6 and then finishing off with his 2 kills for 00 status. Similar to what they are doing with the Jack Ryan Series.

Roger Moore was already an established actor from playing Simon templer on the t.v. series the saint. and pierce brosnan was a t.v. star from his role on Remington Steele. so, I still keep my two picks. Liam Neeson would be a good choice for an older Bond like a bond that's grizzled and has seen stuff think like Sam Fisher

I strongly believe that the next JB won’t be either person of color (with all respect) or female. If your take either novel of Ian Fleming (Bond’s author) there is a minute description of Bond’s appearance and I suppose while creating a movie that has these literary roots, it needs to follow them
