135 mile race is just absolutely mind boggling. like actually incomprehensible to the average person, hell, even most athletic people can't truly comprehend how much 135 miles are. and that's not even talking about how hot it is and how david had no training, etc. this man actually has that rock lee, shonen protagonist drive.
He did a 240 Milestone race as well
yeah its wild
I think you mean mindGogglins
He did 8 100 mile races 8 weekends in a row
one of the best things about goggins is that he speaks the exact same things in all his interviews , podcast.....no bullshit no exaggeration just true life experiences. huge respect for him
Chris Williamson is artful in the skill of interviews. So many talk over the guest, to show their knowledge. It’s about the guest, and their story. Your job is to support and encourage. Brilliant interview, one of the best I’ve seen with Goggins.
That’s an incredible accomplishment, you honored those who never made it back. That’s Brotherhood.
David Goggins is one of those incredible Humans that only come around every 100 years or so.
you have the exact same potential as he have , i mean we all have it so it s there in inside of each of us no need to wait 100 years or so now to be willing to go there is just a choice
@@TommyS81FR so true
@@TommyS81FR Love this comment
He is one of the people who actually have the drive to do it most people are too lazy
“I was wondering what would break first - your spirit…or your body.”
Goggins' sprit is unbreakable.
Lol…In the end he is describing rhabdomyolysis. Lucky to be alive. He is a GOAT
i ran 24 miles when i was not in good shape and was in really bad pain for a few days, 100 miles seems like it would have surely led to death for me.
Still can’t say you ever ran a marathon
Love this dude. Fcking modern day Spartan
This man is the GOAT.
Humans can push beyond incredible limits, but that comes at a price, so choose your destination wisely.
He's already a badass before he becomes the man who he is today and that's fucking impressive!
It seems as if David is talking about having rhabdomyolysis, I had it 3 years ago in June in my sternum/chest area. Was in Worcester hospital in Massachusetts for 3 days... most painful experience of my life. I know the feeling that he talks about here... you cant even describe it. feels like your muscles are being slowly ripped apart inside of you.
When you're peeing coca cola, maybe you've gone too far.
Been there, kidneys are not something to take chances with...!...
Apparently still got another 30 miles to go at the coke piss check point, until you become enlightened.
Rabdomiolis….this is bad very bad….
Especially when you didn't even drink coca cola
He probably gets this every day from fans, he’s a switched on dude he knows what he’s doing isn’t optimal for his physical health, but I guess it’s just something he has to do for his own mental state
Hey podcast lovers. Here’s an idea: I’m creating a data base of all of Chris’s podcasts (in a free notion table) so you can find and browse the topics of their specific interest.
Browsing fields include:
- Guest's expertise
- Main (science) fields discussed
- Personal rating
- Listen to again? (+ set date)
Also including:
- Time stamps
- Podcast summary
- Space for notes (for most important insights)

Getting my 2./3. degree burn scaped with a scalpel, to avoid some kind of scar development, until I went momentarily partially blind (something I just happened to have watched a video about a week before, which probably saved me from also going crazy from the experience - weeeeird coincendence) - or loosing "the woman of my life".. Hard to decide...
You don't lose the woman of your life, you gain the opportunity to find another one
@@RF-INF Wrong. You don't know the actual situation, or my current situation. But you are wrong about both your assumptions.
@@CONEHEADDK What do you mean by 'women of your life'? Do you mean the best women you ever met? For you that is.
@@mrfeelgood992 The only one, I've cried over - and I'm old. "Objectively" we were as made for each other. I won't go into details other than saying fear and angsiety is stronger than love, and I didn't realize the size of those things, bcz I've never seen anything end that way bcz of them.

4:39 LMAO
Damn, bro gonna need some cera ve after that trek 💀
Ok, ridiculous question but didn’t they have port-a Johns?
He was to beat down to even walk from his chair to toilet
00:11 Chris mentioned aspergers. What does he mean? Does Goggins have aspergers?
i was gonna say the same thing. lol
I was in jail and did lunges vs some other dude that said he could do more lunges than me. Pissed brown coffee looking shit the next day. Pretty scary, but not that painful.
I also broke my tibia, and femur.
Break your tibia right near the knee, then slip on your crutches and fall with your entire body weight onto your newly broken leg- I blacked out screaming and don’t remember how I got off the floor and back into my bed. My throat was raw for a week.
Femur break wasn’t that painful in comparison, even though a femur break is described as the most painful experience in the world.
I think I got Goggins beat on this one.
DAWG
I am confused by asbergers comment by interviewer?
Same
What happened to Dave for him to torture himself with these incredible tasks just to not feel worthless?
Read his book or listen to the first Joe Rogan podcast. It tells all man. Wild stuff
I highly recommend Can't Hurt Me. It such a valuable read.
It's not Dave, it's David or Goggins
@@emmioglukant ikr hes out here acting like he knows him personally lmao
Unexplainable human being. He’s close to an angel from the bible or something😂😂🤙🏾
Killer instinct is David Goggins
This dude ran 100+ miles with worn out knees to the bone… jesus christ 😬😬😬

I think I know when his wife decided to become his ex.
Gayeee!!!
None of this is motivating 😂 like why tf would u do that? I mean cool he’s a bad ass but I would never think this is “amazing”. He needs a get into heaven free card
He's obsessed with being the hardest person mentally.. and a mental mindset that is the toughest and never breaks.. that's what he does he claims
its amazing beacuse its unbelievably hard.
