BTW, one of the hooks of your 1/2" adapter is broken. That happens a lot. Probably someone tried to force the cartridge off the headshell before removing the screw. The way yours is, it won't seat properly. It will hang lower on the left side. Mine was like that and I had to buy a new one on ebay. Fairly cheap.

Thanks for mentioning that! Mine is also broken, I’ve learned from your comment. The new 1/2 inch adapters ones on eBay I see all have 4 raised pins for connection rather than the recessed gold plates as in this video - do the adapters with 4 raised connection pins work place of the adapter show here? Thanks for any advice!

I want to do the same thing but read somewhere that the higher tracking force and low compliance of this cartridge would not be a good fit for a low mass tonearm such as the one on this Dual. Have you had any issues with it after installing this cartridge?

You're right that it is a poor match for the Dual's arm. For this application it doesn't really matter to me since the goal is acceptable sound not true hifi.

@sfred true. And after i left this comment i read up more on the anti-resonance feature of this turntable. Mine has anti resonance tuning. That should correct issues such as this, giving us the ability to pretty much use any cartridge.
