Takes the dark screen on a Flysky GT3B and lightens it up. Very easy mod. Just take your time and work on a clean table.

Thanks for the video! I've found it a lot easier to apply the polarizer to the screen instead of taping it to the LCD. Still a very helpful video! This is the only one on the whole CZcams about the polarizer mod.

I read other people's posts and it sounds like it brightens your screen
It inverts the visuals.
Love when people do this. I've been doing to anything I wanted reversed. Watches, Police Scanners, And many other things

I think I would just buy a new sheet of polarizer and cut. to size to have it more clear and pretty looking
That is an option. Although its quite clear, might not look that way on camera. Also, this is pretty much a no cost mod for those who have this radio.

What is the reason of taking off and then putting it right back on with double-sided tape?? What is the benefit

Is there a way to have it show that the unit is on when the display times out? Is there a way to add an LED to the unit connected to the on/off power switch?
I have already gone thru 4 sets of batteries, setting it down thinking it was off and it wasn't. (at $7 - $8 a pop).
I feel your pain, I went through the same thing with mine. Invest in some rechargable Energizers. They're expensive, but you'll save yourself a lot of money and aggravation in the long run.
Mine is already the way you are changing it to. Was confused at first, I thought you had put it back to normal, but yours is normally dark with light letters. I guess the C version comes light with dark letters. Also, I do not seem to have the short battery life you talked about in another vid, seems like they improved it in the version change (B to C). Thank you for the video just the same.

Why take off the blue cover as it's ok as it is. That's all I ment. I'm not trolling I just don't see the method in the madness.
As mention in another comment, It is easier to see in broad daylight with this mod..
Mine must be a different gt3B but I know I've heard some are brighter than others buddy. Why didn't they include contrast settings.
