Thanks for the review. I was on the fence with this product and now I know what to do
Whatcha gonna do?
How’s the mask working for you?
Yeah how's it working
@@daviedood2503 No response - dudes been hibernating with it on for the past year
can that timer be adjusted?
There is a lot of questions here, which makes me question if he even tried it like actually really
He just reviewed it for money of course he's gonna be all positive and "buy buy buy" he gets a portion of the sales
7:00 What if you don't want it to turn off all night? And what if you don't use a pillow per se and are a front sleeper? Is it bad for front sleepers only really if you have a pillow, if that makes sense?
are you comfortable when you sleep on your left side with the mask?
The speakers are placed too high compared to the ears. If you move the band down, then it will squeeze your nose. They should be redisgned.
Also, they are not completely dark (in case you use them in a car or somewhere with light).
Does the power button function as a play/pause too? Is it a long press to power on/off and a one-click to play/pause?
Update (I bought it). The power button doubles as a play/pause button. Long press turns it on/off. I think the whole thing is too bulky to sleep in
Does the Bluetooth module emit any light while it’s on? I have one of those cheap sound bands from Amazon and it blinks every 10 seconds or something, which is annoying for everyone else in the house in the dead of night.
No… it flashes via a pin-prick sized light when you power it on. But that’s it - and even at that, that light has zero impact on a dark room
Question. Does it blare a low battery or power off announcement like the dozen or so Amazon masks I’ve gone through?
No
I fucking hate that shit, so many headphones, even some nicer ones, have a low battery notification that basically makes the last 15% of the headphones battery life unusable.
Does it fully take out nouse when not using audio like can you hear things going on in the room
It is not noise canceling
Very interesting
So there is zero bass and u get mostly treble sounds?
looks nice but the snoozeband is a third of the price and slimmer. will probably go with the snoozeband
When you are using it, can you hear other sounds from the room as well? Like a not so loud phone alarm? Or perhaps outside noise?
Yes, you can hear sounds from the room, assuming you don't have the volme cranked. But at a quiet to semi-quiet level (which I'd assume most everyone would use for sleeping/resting), you'd be able to hear a not-so-loud alarm/outside noises.
Does it block noise? Like talking?
No. There isn’t noise cancellation. The only way to block ambient sound is by increasing volume… not really ideal for creating a relaxing mood
@@av_nirvana this mask would be instant purchase if it had noice cancellation
Can you pair it with a Amazon Alexa?
I'd like to know as well. I don't want my phone on at night simply to save on battery. No need to have it on if I'm sleeping for 6-8 hours plus... thx!!
The volume buttons are super loud, so they will wake your partner when you press them.
Does it block snoring?
It’s not noise canceling, if that’s what you’re asking. I guess you could up the volume to block external noises. But, it might be hard to sleep!
@@av_nirvana Yeah I wish there was anti snoring mask :D
too much dog barks, and under construction noise that distubs me, to be able to sleep well, what do you listen. I tried: czcams.com/video/FdN1pnEaJs0/video.html I had headache. do you recomment like "ocean waves" or maybe "rain voice" to sleep?
Thank you for sharing but I just don’t think this product is for me. It seems like if I use the audio feature I would miss my alarm in the morning to wake up for work. Also, I’m the kind of person that doesn’t like any sort of audio or noise when I’m sleeping. So this just wouldn’t work I also find that the mask is rather expensive. But that’s just me.
If interested in general get the original- gray color. I've used that for about 6 years now... just looking for something new...
thats like hating cooking but watching spatula reviews
I use audio feature connected to my phone. I fall asleep listening to brown noise and use spotify as my alarm clock on my phone. I haven't had problem waking up to the alarm since it's connected to the bluetooth.
@@orp5us lol
15 min naps?? Lol no way ur falling asleep that fast ... unless u have narcolepsy stop the cap
Ha! It’s true, total sleep time is probably about 5-7 min.
Look up Non Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR). Your not looking for total sleep but to slow brain activity which has the effect of slow wave sleep
Sadly, it is possible because I used to do that too lol. When I was in my early 20s I had two jobs and would nap in between shifts. For example, I’d start trying to fall asleep in my car at like 3:40 pm and would set my alarm to 3:58 pm. It would take me a couple of minutes to fall sleep, but I definitely would be OUT until that alarm went off 😂
Sleeping for 15 minutes is not the same as falling asleep within 15 minutes. Man might block out an hour for a quick nap that only lasts 15-20, I often do this.
No cap, it takes me 10 minutes to fall asleep at night
Vial filth noise
