Balancing its symphony of systems can sometimes be an overly punishing process, but the riveting tension of each run is fun enough to keep you on your toes even through some repetitious pain points.

Double-A games are the best games. The budgets aren't so high that devs aren't willing to take a chance on more niche ideas. And at the same time it still has enuff of a budget to look like a polished product.

I’ve skipped a lot of AAA games this generation, so AA has been what keeps me playing for these reasons.

7 is fair, this game has been massively overhyped by the indie CZcams outlets. The game peaks and becomes massively boring at the halfway point

IGN reviews fell off, non-existent shoes did make me chuckle though even if it was off a script.
It's IGN, I'm surprised they didn't complain about the lack of firearms.
Game is far worse than what review gave it credit for. Horrendous performance, repetitive, "progressive". Refunded.

It's really not. It's an incredibly tedious loot/craft game that has an incredible atmosphere and music. But the driving is like 1% of the game, you don't Even actually drive to locations, you teleport there, loot the procedurally generated area, and teleport out. The only driving is the 100 feet between crates that you loot. It's a 5/10 and all 5 of that is the atmosphere and music

Two different games and genres too. It’s silly to compare the review score two games got. The score never means X game is better/worse/the same as Y game, they’re reviewed on their own merits, not in comparison to other games.

The demo was fun, and the radio tracks were surprisingly catchy. I’m giving it a shot.

Honestly ignore the fact that the steel armor has a health of paper and the points to leave in a field of trees and watching the zone close or that siren and honestly 10/10
Honestly the stylized art style is my favorite thing about the game

This game is like an A24 movie. Most people will think it's an 8 out of 10 but those who seek out interesting and unusual games will rank this an 11 out of 10. You know who you are.

Just tried it out. Textures not loading, stuttering, missing text, and menu getting stuck when trying to do the first drive. Restarted and progress gone. Could've used some more time.

Titan Chaser is a similar title (seemingly..) that often goes on sale for mega cheap. If you're looking for a game similar where you drive a car and flick things on and off in it while exploring surreal environments, look into it..

It’s a shame that most of these survival games are only first person. They need to take a page out of Ark or fallout. Give us the option to switch between first and third person. Otherwise this is just a free game at best.

FYI this game might be quite a lot more enjoyable when played using a controller or a wheel. Those with masochistic tendencies will prefer a keyboard.

Using an "if" system to repair car quirks is probably the best feature for a programmer like me. Amazing title.
Ign just loves the number 7
The lack of save points removes the point of exploring, its a waste of time because the longer you take - you end up with a car flip end game that deleted an hour or more of your time. Great game, horrible hard locked save way to play that had me delete and not buy. I'm not the only one. Should be an option. Easy mode - save anywhere. Normal - etc etc

How anyone finds this 'game' entertaining is beyond me. This game is a grind, collect, collect and collect and craft and do nothing.

Seems pretty nice, would've bought it with a couple of friends, but at the same time we really don't appreciate propaganda in our entertainment material so we're just gonna pirate it! :)
