If I'm not mistaken, it's actually more accurate to have Gundam-eyes behind the mask than those with visors. I remember seeing in anime that it's does look more like eyes than a long green visor, and the OST cover shows it too.

The RG Perfectibility is significantly more expensive than most Perfect Grades, if only because you can only get it by grabbing the Complete Gundam Unicorn Blu-Ray box set.

After both the PG and most recently the spectacular RG, Bandai has shown they have the skill to pull off an amazing Unicorn kit at 1/100 scale.
John-Paul Kliebert would agree, specifically of perfectibility. I think the darker blue contrasts better with the white than the lightish bluish green of full armor. And just the kit itself looks awesome with all the armed armor. It just needs a touch up in functionality.
They are still spending time thinking of a way to milk the MG 1.0 unicorn

The MG is fine. There are kits that could use a 2.0 a lot more than the Unicorn.

Actually the rg version of the unicorn also suffers from the de-transforming problem. I had the most trouble with the verniers on the back skirt. I guess because this is so big it becomes easier to notice.
The leg parts were changed because the leg bend used to be even worse, they changed it in the OVA version to have a slightly better bend

Couldn't agree more with your video, when I saw it launched I thought how bad the kit would have been, but then again watching the PV play on the Gundam Wall in Odaiba and the big unicorn transform in front of your eyes, even old engineering would bring back nice memories of it (plus that box art), so lugged one home waiting to be built too!
Just bought my model and looking forward to building and customizing it. My fav Gundam design of all time.
The way the ms flopped off the stand just made it look so done with everything x3

Also speaking of base adapters how about the real grade adapter that once u put it on you can't even take them off

That’s the early real grade kits. The Astray red frame doesn’t have that issue. And yes it is a pain to get those adapter parts off...

Well, the "perfectibility" name is actually an improvement. It's original name in try-age was "Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Plan-B"

You know everytime mecha calls a transformable mobile suit in the MG line a handgrenade, how come he still has his hands intact? One of these days a old transformable MG mobile suit will blow up and takes his hands
After seeing this I’m glad I finished building the RG full armor unicorn this last Monday. All I have to say is for a 1/144 kit it has shelf presence and isn’t afraid of a damn thing

The left over leg parts will allow for better articulation. The one manual asked to use is from ver ka, which was a design fault. So they revised it in the standard release.
I wouldn't mind having this but it took me forever to do the chest when i built the MG Full Armor Unicorn

Great review Mecha Gaikotsu! I will be going to Tokyo next month & this greatly helped me decide what to avoid. I am a big Unicorn Gundam fan, I would rather buy the perfect & grade versions of this.
I know you're pain and hatred for the MG Unicorn. The MG Unicorn (anime version) was my first Master Grade. At first I loved it because...well...how can you not love the Unicorn and the build was unique at the time. But overtime...I have grown to loathe it. It now sits on my shelf in destroy mode, never ever to be touched again.
I would trade it for the RG version in a heartbeat.
What's worst is that it's probably too late to for bandai to make a 2.0 of the hg or mg unicorns.
Can't wait for the eventual p-bandai PG perfectibility though.

But when they made the RG they accidentally broke the mold and made it perfect unlike it's bigger counterparts...
I guess the equivalent for skyrim was the PC edition, because mods make games perfect (before creation club happened and such...)
I'm thinking about making my own custom SD perfectibility, all I'll basically need is the SD BB Senshi Unicorn and Phenex and steal the psychoframe parts from the phenex and paint the gold shields white. And since it's not the SDCS version, it'll be able to transform!

On the RG, the Armed Armor XC folds on the sides on the backpack, I think that's better
Here on the MG just folding to the back looks like it'll limit the movement of the wings

For the visor its because in the anime while it may look like at first glance like theres a visor, if you look carefully you can see its actually made of two eyes

I actually just noticed something. Isn’t the regular Unicorn Gundam the first kit to have a kit in every normal form? It’s had SD, HG, RG, MG, PG, and Mega Size. The Perfectibility is going to be missing the Mega Size, but it’s getting a Perfect Grade soon, and expansion parts for the Perfectibility Devine

When rg phenex goes out, we probably can just combine the backpack and banshee vn/bs accessory. Then becomes perfectibility.
Update from September 13th 2020. There’s a reason the RG Perfectability sold out on US P-Bandai within minutes (some people were saying second) and the MG Perfectability was still available until it’s availability closed.
I have MG Unicorn and banshee. Both in OVA ver. But the banshee is better than unicorn. Don't know why but banhsee is tighter, more fun to play with rather than unicorn. Even though they share same molding 😅
I wonder if full armored Gundam unicorn pieces can fit on this version of the Unicorn
I know I'm a year late but uh, you can see it's duel eyes light up underneath the visor, the faceplate and visor are just a guard/disguise.

I got this kit when I went to Japan over the summer. It was about 100-120 USD at Gundam Base. All I can say is if you got the money and is conveniently in Japan go for it. If you're not and like to see you're money literally die in front of you, sure go for it I guess.

Had to glue it to the ass to make it work after some time (it got loose very fast).

Despite it's flaws some of the left over actually did me a favour to customize it into 3 different Gundams or "camo skin" which are strange yet interesting, as for the knee bend problem you can cut or sand off some of the armour near the back of the knees yet of course only cut or sand off a bit
