Fun Extras! This kit has a LOT of unused parts, including a full grenade gun from the full armor. Also, the beam javelin can attach to the wings if you use the FA forearm shield adapter (also included) and it still can attach to the DE hard points for the backpack. In half-transformed mode on the arms, it looks like a jet boosted beam bayonette for the shield, and is awesome... just leave the tail binders off, as they add WAY too much to the thickness of the bottom of the DE

@@tensazangetsu8076 the backpack is very slightly modified from the FA unicorn, and the shield can be mounted from either the tail stabilizers or the joint between the shield and the DE add-on... but mounting it from the bottom on the backpack looks kinda silly, so you can replace that joint with the included FA joint for combining with the javelin/beam gattlings
I will say, if you’re posing this on the ground, and you don’t have any stand on hand, I would say leave the tails on, they provide enough stability if you pose them correctly
So I gotta pull up the FA Unicorn's instructions to give my normal Unicorn a grenade gun

Bandai PG phenex Narrative version.
Combine it with a kosmos LED kit to also light up the wings and add delpi holo blue decals and a nameplate for the base.
I had been eyeballing the non-narrative version for 3(?) years now, since the PG Unicorn is what got me into gunpla.
Got the kit delivered last week, LED's are still in shipment and Delpi still needs to announce the NT version decals (they are working on those).

Seeing all these Unicorn releases just reignites my burning desire for master grade Barbatos Lupus and Lupus Rex. Cuz if Bandai is willing to keep making new Unicorns, then why not just make two more Barbatos.
They love the Universal Century timeline the most though so it gets treated better than the spin offs.
One, the MG Barbatos frame has a massive flaw imho. The actual shoulder/deltoid area of that kit has 0 mobility, which kills a *lot* of dynamic poses. That's especially bad if Bandai wants to carry that frame over to the Lupus and the Rex, since those are kits that really need to be able to throw good punches.
Two, this point, I'm pretty sure that a big majority of the Gundam fanbase are just hardcore UC purists, and that whenever Bandai makes any kits/figures for designs that aren't strictly in line with the UC aesthetic, they secretly get mass death threats or something. Seriously, the only thing we get nowadays are UC stuff, and a $500 unplayable hand grenade with metal joints for Seed/00 every other year.

Just built this today. I built the standard version a few months ago, so this went quicker than if I was first building it. This is now my second favorite model kit, the first is the MG Freedom 2.0. Both are some of the best kits I’ve ever built
I'm not one hundred percent sure which kit that piece is from, but It looks like the outside edge of a suits front-skirting. Maybe some GM variant?

For anyone who doesn't know and is curious,
VN = Vibrating Nail, BS = Beam Smartgun,
DE = Defense Extention, XC = Xeno-Connect
VN, BS, and DE are self explanatory but the XC is the thing on it and the Banshee Norn's back, it increases generator efficiency while also taping into the something something signal that lets people know a mobile suit is afoot, effectively extending its sight range making it know where tlu are before you know where it is. At closer range it can interfere with your own systems making it difficult to target.
I just had to get one and so far so good. I know it’s going to have some issues but it’s just sooooo awesome looking. I can’t wait to finish mine. Keep up the great videos.

for someone who loved the unicorns, buildlt three of RG unicorns (bandee, normal, and full armor) the best way to appreciate it is determine what mode you want to display your unicorn, and then lock it.. play around? yes, but not too much...
This, lmao. I have the same line up (banshee yet to be build tho) and I haven't touched them since finishing them. Only when I'm rearranging my shelf, which isn't often, do I ever try to play with them again.
They're pretty, and solidly built imo. But can be finicky to people that are heavy handed 🤷🏻♂️.
@@mosheep yep! totally agree, the normal and bandee dessine is the one to go if you want to play around.. the banshee is ok i guess, the backpack is little bit "menacing" to touch around.. lol that's why i keep my FA and normal unicorn in destroy mode and never bother to transform them.. its okay to change pose but no transform 🤣

I think it’s part of the Master Grade Grand daddy Gundam.I recognize it cause it falls off all the time on my kit.It’s either the front skirting armor,or butt flap armor that goes around the square,yellow part...at least that’s what it looks like to me!

With all the leftovers, you could pretty much build the 3 Unicorn in blue/white colors
The Perfectibility is basically what i crated on Breaker 3 except mine had my colours.
Although i used the Full Armor Unicorn's legs cos those had missile pods.
I want this one... But that price tag is something that is already giving me headaches... But at least is cheaper than the first edition of the Gundam Unicorn Blu-ray collection that came with this model kit.
you know, you can get this one and just paint some Russian invisible ink on for your own desiring lights
and the bandai standard parts really drive this kitty's style out, not even most paint works can achieve this much beauty. worth taking it with this price

I would say flip flop with Quan (T), Turn A/X, Phenex, Unicorn crystal mode, this, and Banshee. I mean Turn A/X is supposed to be the last endgame, but the way Sunrise keeps raising power levels of new gundams to having abilities that even Turn A/X would hard time beating even at full power. I am not so sure at this point especially when comparing to 00 Quant and the Unicorns with their powers being on par if not better abilities they have in their arsenal.

By the way, you don’t need that clear adapter part for attaching it to the stand. Most real grades have that same or similar grey connector part, and the large square hole can be used to attach directly to the large roundish peg on any action base arm. The smaller 3mm hole is for fixed position action bases like you might see with some high grades, the big square is for all other action bases 1 through 5
Great timing, as my RG Perfectibility finally emerged from its 3-month dormancy in the Pacific (Though somehow ending up in New Jersey?????) and I should hopefully be receiving it in the coming week!

I got the RG Perfectibility myself; I can tell you that I haven't had any of the problems you had with the legs; while I think you might be onto something with transforming the MGEX, your history with the other Unicorns and my own build might also suggest you may have just not gotten a good one.
Now this is the kit i been waiting for this review & as for the MG Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility, its not good enough unlike RG kits.
You have run into my greatest gripe with the RG unicorn. It is beautiful, technology is amazing, and shelf presence is *chief kiss*. But I am terrified to touch it! It won't break on me, but you can not play with it. Also some of the joints have aged in the six years since I bought it. Hopefully with how popular the unicorn types are, we'll get a mark 2 with a locking system or something for the NTD mode

This is what I wanted from the start. Ended up with Banshee, then FA (painted purple&mauve), then basic + AA-DEs aftermarket (painted sky&sea blues), and metal upgrade bits (highly recommend). Still would have considered splurging for a perf too if it was available without huge markup. Thanks for teaching me that the pointed bit of the hyper javelin can be a bayonet! Now the blue one has both kinds of bayonet on its magnums, the AA-DEs on its arms with the twin gats, and a floating shield with gats to cover the legs in a lunging forward in space pose.

M8, the RG unicorn's base adapter can be attached to the stand using the square hole as well. The 3mm peg hole is more for the bases that don't have the octagonal peg, like the runnerless stand.

Despite definitely falling into the category of “heavy handed” (I broke one of the shoulder frame pieces :c) and nearly every experience I had with touching kit until very recently, especially with it as my first RG, being PAIN, I adore it. Well worth the 80-something dollars and sanity questioning, would buy RG again.
Just a thought. I think it would be awesome to kitbash a Unicorn with different colored psycho fame taken from other Unicorn variants. i.e blue on the feet, green on the arms and red in the torso hehe

I ordered mine on September but didnt get it until march. Just now finished it though. I plan on keeping mine as unicorn mode but idk how to put on the shield things with the backpack closed. probably isnt even possible. I still love it though haha.

I kind of think the mystery Gunpla part *might* be one half of one of the weapon/accessory mounting clips from System Base 001, or at least it looks a lot like it.
Maybe that mystery part could be part of the skirt armor for the RG RX-78-2? Mine fell off all the time until I glued it. That's my best guess.

As a owner of both the Blu-Ray release and the P-Bandai release, this is easily my favorite RG Unicorn
@@Gunpla_shrimp no the P-Bandai has the same plastic colors as the regular release but the Blu-ray version has like a pearl finish to the whole kit and it’s in a more off white color than a regular release Unicorn. You’d be able to tell right away if it was the boy-ray just from that, and the box.

have a pefrect banshee norn myself, basically all the armed armor parts equiped, one comment about this is that bandai could have designed the rg phenex attachment arms for the two shield boosters more like with the mg, where it swings down to allow the xc unit to fully close

The part is from an RX-78, I think either the 3.0 or the RG(I couldn’t really tell the size from the clip. It’s part of the skirt armor; it sandwiches the yellow boxes(ammo?) on either the front or the back.

It's the piece that goes on the upper parts of the frontal skirts, and that seems to be the right one
Wasn't able to get the RG, but I did get the HG. It doesn't look as good but it doesn't fall apart all the time either.

I just found a picture of the Plan B with parts of the "Full Armor." He's got 2 Beam Magnums.
I think that part is from (I forget the name) the kind of classic original mascot gundam, it’s from the hip plate
that random part looks like it might be from: a front, side, or rear skirt, somewhere on the torso, or maybe its part of some detailing on a weapon part or the heel of a foot
I absolutely love the Perfectability. With the Phenex Wings and Banshee Hands it looks amazing
PBandai was not ready for the traffic when this went live, in trying i wound up with 2 in cart and just hit order scared i would miss out. Been trying to sell my extra at retail price for about 3 months now and still no luck.
