I’m sad. The rack I want you guys say won’t go on my Colorado. It’s so hard to find compatible stuff for GM. It’s like no one cares for GM, only Toyota and Jeep 🥺 there’s hundreds of accessories for those and only a few for Chevy and GMC.
Question: My new 2023 Colorado arrives in 2 weeks. Going to put a OL bed rack on it. Is there any way to adjust your rack with these pocket adapters, down to the new, shitty bed length?
would be helpful to just install one onto a colorado/canyon - the tacoma video is completely different considering there are no side rails in the GMC/Chevy. Bit confusing to watch the Tacoma install, you end up using none of the parts other than the rails and upright posts.
I have a 2017 Ram with the 5’6” bed. I don’t see a rack specifically for my truck so I chose the universal. It says Colorado/Canyon. Is that correct? Is there a full size 12” rack?

Not height adjustable? Would be much nicer if it could be leveled off with the roof rack from both a utility and esthetic pov.

Yes, we have used our racks with soft, roll-up tonneau covers.

I want to get this one, but how would I haul lumber such as 2x4’s and such when it doesn’t pass the cab height?
It's more of a adventure rack than a ladder/timver rack

A rollup that fits entirely between the bed rails would need to be used. On the Toyotas we have good luck with Access roll-up covers.
