I honestly feel like I've watched Jake get better at guitar based off all the play ins we've had lol
The absolute classic: Can you actually follow behind someone in a car without them noticing but also without losing sight of them
One of my favourite videos by far! Jake is an absolute champ. Always so entertaining watching his antics unfold haha
Love to channel! Y'all should try the "person getting chased goes into a department store and changes their clothes and/or wig and walks right past their pursuer" cliche.
I love when the podcasts referrence old FreddieW videos, a lost era of youtube. They used to do slight of hand, hypnosis, etc... 29:00
28:03 I heard that Niko. Bingo!
31:03 I also did not know that they did the Jason Bourne vanish trick in camera in that scene, which I think makes it truly great. We are so used to that spy movie trope that one does assume they just do a roto or mask or any VFX trick, but doing it "for real" is a neat movie trivia.
Instead of painting a car, I wonder if you could rip off a vinyl wrap in like 10 seconds with a crew. Maybe just having 2 car following each other somewhere, distract them just long enough going into a parking garage or alley to do the switch and disappear.
Great podcast! Great topics and engagement, and I loved watching Niko’s eyes light up talking about his bug out plan. Now its time to consult my Bingo card.
How about Jake fully changing outfits in an instant in order to disappear into a crowd.
Beautiful guitar solo from Jake
You should do a texas switch, making everybody think Jake did some crazy impossible stunt
The Jake's movie series is one of my favorites!
it taught us that Jake is amazing as physical actor
Sooooo...is this Escape from LA going to be a video? :D
It really is the little things. Love this podcast, thank you all!
I think the best next fake-out video would be another jake prank thing, but you're pranking us the audience and it's an ad-read all along, all along.
Pink Floyd Intro, very nice.
Dude, i just realized what they should do for the Smoke bomb thing. They should make a real production and get the whole crew there then have Jake come out and then disappear infront of everyone
Woop New Corridor Cast!
In the future Jake should use a picture of his background for calls if he's not home to set the illusion.
Is Niko always congested because of LA air?
It's not a moped with a windshield lmao
It's a "bee", an old italian 3-wheeled car.
Eyyyyy I’m here for CORRIDOOOOOR BAYBEEE
Cannonball Run did peel-off "paint".
Thinking about the ninja disappearance; you'd have to be a well-prepared ninja and have a pre-dug hole where you wanted to "escape" at and do some sniper tricks to camo the hole and just pop a smoke bomb close and far enough that it wouldn't be revealed. Would have to be more of a chemical smoke bomb than smoke from the explosion itself.
This was awesome and good job y’all. I think that White Collar did that effect better than the Bourne Series, but I also think that is was more a comp out rather than practical
New series, escape from LA, every episode uses a different method of transportation.
39:20 Niko, did you too learn this from Den of Thieves?
can we get another spyfall match
I'm surprised the studio doesn't have a little emergency plan/stockpile
ah yes, vegetation helps reduce evapotranspiration and reduce erosion!
Dammit Jordan. 😘
I'm not saying this to imply that Jordan is inept at her own makeup, but rather, a dude-majority studio may overlook that, cheap productions make actors do their own makeup. Even a part time makeup person would be great, or even get someone from that Face Off show (dang, 13 seasons?) to do appliance effects, and some foundation touch-ups on the side for couch videos.
Edit, It's funny that I thought Jordan's reaction to the prank was the most clueless, and irl, she was the most dialed in, lol.
Now I really want to see the fake video that was done to distract the crew from Jake.

Do you guys film this with Riverside?
Has anyone else been getting Audio bugs listening to the past couple podcasts? It's sooo annoying. It's like when they pause and start talking again the first few words are muted, and even now through the middle of their sentences. Why? Otherwise great episode!
35:25 how about using one of those manholes in your street? Could be a safety issue or city legal thing. Another Idea might be two overlapping fabrics faking a wall wallpaper, so that one can squeeze through the overlap and then the tension of the material pulls it back and flat again.
There could be a wall behind all of the fabric except for the small part with the pass through. That way things could be leaned or hanged on the "wall" to further distract from it.
