I’ve been periodically been trying to pick some of these up for my favorites. This stuff was pre social media, CZcams, and unlimited overwhelming media at our fingertips. When we used to go through physical guides and manuals and things were much more tangible.
We appreciated information so much more before the internet. We had to wait for it, anticipate it and sometimes be disappointed when you didn’t get to know everything you’d hoped. Now, information is readily available but we have to question if it’s even true or real haha.
This Prima Secrets Guide Manual is so cool! I love it!

In the last year or two, i've bought the GamePro MK guide for consoles, and the Brady Games MK2, MK3, UMK3 for arcade and separate guides for consoles and also MK4 one for console only. Love just going through them reading the story and looking at the art. The MK3 arcade secrets and SF2 guides are completely mint without a mark on it and still smells fresh! Beautiful pieces.
The smell was always exciting haha! I also have the MK trading cards. I should show those too.

Nice! I wish I still had all of the guides I had growing up. I’m sad they got tossed. My parents were not interested in keeping things they considered unneeded haha.

I can’t find this guide anymore lol, I remeber reading it as well back in my old MK Arcade days the good old MK Arcade days when the internet didn’t even exist at the time you had to go by magazines to see any upcoming updates on MK Arcade releases or console releases
Yes! I remember having to wait for the next gaming magazine to show up in the mail or go to the magazine stand at my grocery store to find one. Then you had to hope it had the info you wanted and if it didn’t, you just had to wait. It sounds miserable by today’s standards but there was that exciting element and you appreciated it more when you had to wait for it.

This book brings back memories of when cameras weren't on every corner recording our mundane daily activities. No cellphones in our pockets causing future testicular or ovarie cancer. AND.... 90% of us liked 60% of society no matter what political affiliation they identified as. Those were the days.
That’s so true. I do miss the days when people wouldn’t ask who you voted for or if they did, you were disgusted by them and wouldn’t say.

I had a PCB running revision 2.1 but upgraded it. I could do a video on the versions. I think 3.0 is the only way to play the game really.
