These are the top 5 things I love and the top 5 things I hate about my Maserati Ghibli. I purchased my 2014 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 with 37,000 miles just a few weeks ago, and this is the best time to give you my first impressions in a top 5 list of things I love and things I hate.
These are all opinions that I made AFTER owning the car and driving it on a regular basis. I had my preconceived notion prior to my purchase, by after taking ownership and experiencing the car as a driver, my conclusions have slightly altered. I will discuss my favorite parts of the interior, the power, the exterior design, features, and other quirks that you may not be aware of.
If you are thinking about buying a used Maserati Ghibli, this video will give you a good perspective of what to expect after purchasing a Maserati Ghibli. I highly recommend purchasing a S model with the Q4 AWD system. I will post another video soon where I go over all of the numbers on this car which includes the price I paid for it, cost of annual service, oil change, tires, and even a new quote on the car. A Celtic tune (UK) fixes the turbo lag.
I own a 2014 Ghibli, rwd so yeah it’s the base model, but it has every option possible, carbon fiber trim, heated wheel heated cooled seats, sound system (not that great😂)-that’s not all but I love every bit of it. Even the bad shit😂 it is so much fun, it’s beautiful to look at, to hear. It’s even fun to work on. Maserati gets too much hate, the lovers may be a little overboard but I mean hey I’m one of em so I ain’t mad😂

2. Same old tiny sunroof like the old 2014 style or older
3. Same old door handles that stick out too far on exterior.
4. Same old fat GMC type keys
5. Cup holders still can’t hold regular size cups.
6. MPG same
7. Horsepower same
8. Dashboard design same
9. Exhaust sound still weak
10. Audio system still weak
11. Shifting gear knob still too large
12. Mirrors still don’t fold electronically
13. Technology Innovation overall still weak
14. Overall no major redesign etc ed.
If mazerati wants more sales and respect from consumers then they should earn it by building a better quality brand. Redesign it !
One of the best cars I’ve owned!
Its not a ferrari 'derived' engine. It IS a ferrari engine made in the marranello factory. They come in sealed, delivered to drop in the maserati assembly line.
It’s a pentastar chrysler design with a block shipped from the US. Ferrari assembled and fabricated the non block parts. Ferrari’s IPO prospectus positioned a line of business as an oem engine maker but they’re decreasing this. The v8s and new v6 are derived from Ferrari designs. This is partly why Luca said they were “turning Ferrari into to an american company”

Got a question i been seen ones with learher on the dash and carbon fiber,, it's that another trim or just a up grade pakage?,,, Cuz i been seen a lot of sq4 with red learher interior dash Doors etc carbon fiber o man thats sick specially with all the real carbon fibers that u can get on ebar y mean i been seeing 2014 sq4 For 22,000$ with 40,000 Miles i'm pretty sure like with cash i You can find a really Nice one with 20,000$ and with 7,500$ full it up with carbon fiber side skirt, with cf front an rear bumper with cf tail, with cf handles , and with all the cf carbon fiber around the navigation screen a really Nice steeeing wheel carbon fiber as well with more carbon fiber in the inside handle door ,, some Nice carpet on the floor i want a white one exterior and red learher interior so in the outside i Will black out a lot of things and chance the tail lights For a smoke ones with LED and in the fron the same for rude mad ones with all that i planing to spend 27,500 For a car that Will look like a 150,000 and i Will feel real happy My next dream car planing to get on this 23-24 may e i Will up load vids about it
I own a 2017 SQ4 and 2 of the things you mentioned were already been fixed: (1) the infotainment system is upgraded and I use Android Auto every day with weekly updates on Google Maps. And (2) I've got big aluminum paddle shifters :-) I love this car!
Does the paddle shifters come automatically in your year & model or is it an option? I flew to New York to get the same exact car. And it’s currently being shipped to me to Vegas and I can’t remember if it was there😂

Not trying the trash the Ghibli ( I'm considering buying one) but @09:42 so does the Chrysler 300 my 2006 Touring Model
I agreed on the lack of paddle shifters and I love the looks and the sound. But I disagree on the stigma part because most people who asked me about my ghibli said that it’s an expensive car.
Were did you get $600 monthly lease ? MSRP with couple of options is 100k
Even with 10k down you ate looking at $1500 monthly for 36 months with a 15k mileage allowance

How much does it cost to service? Can you use budget tyres? Just wonder if you buy an older one, is it feasible or will it make you go bankrupt?
It’s not cheap but you shouldn’t buy this car if you’re on a tight budget. You won’t go bankrupt but there are costs that come with owning a car like this, and there’s a reason they have depreciated so badly.
How come your English is so good? Were you born in America?

Petrol cars are out, not fancy anymore. I know everyone likes to sell the last of them having in stock but it is a bit like watching a black and white movies while color ones are getting more and more popular. Sorry!
There's no replacement for displacement.
Electric cars are probably the future unfortunately. They have no style, connection and feel that petrol cars have. And they look awful.
Until the body styling of electric cars gets sexier, I’m out. Teslas look total gash
