Long story short, my husband took a detour, instead of going to the store he went to a animal shelter. It was during Covid. While waiting on line to go in a woman tapped him on the shoulder & said “ here take him!”….He was to be our precious pembroke Welch CORGI - LOUIE…he was 4 months old and her mom was allergic…she had just paid $3800.00!!!!!! 2 hours prior! She handed over all the paperwork..he was chipped too! He was meant for us…we love you LOUIE!💕

young lady i could not agree with you more on having a dog i have pomchi which is a mix chihuahua and he best dog i ever own iam a proffesional over the road truck driver and my health was gpoing down hill before i got a dog and iam blessed i work for company that allows our pets on the truck now when i stop for breaks i take him out for walks and also help me cause now i have company with me on the truck enjoy your little buddy and god bless you young lady
We now have two corgis and couldn’t be happier. They’re great dogs and truly brighten anyone’s day.

Great video Devon. I have a 7 month old corgi and whilst he can be very hard work at times, I love having him around. He’s quickly becoming a best friend.

Thanx, Devon. I thought a lot of getting a Corgi. Never own a puppy but as cute as Willo can be,.. I have my heart set on Corgi. They jus melt my heart. I live alone and work 40 hours a week but It gets lonely when I'm by myself. I'm a bit scared. A lot of people tells me that It's a big responsibilities but I know their Love is priceless and timeless.
Willo is so beautiful and such a personality she has. Thank you for all the videos , they are very informative.

Nice video! I would love to learn about Willo’s exercise routine and what it’s like hiking with a corgi.
Don't let the short legs fool you they have so much stamina.. remember they are working dogs who could herd cattle like any sheepdog. But they can also be the laziest creature in the world then 0 to 17 kph in a few seconds. Hiking its a doddle. But make sure they don't put on weight. They can be very greed when the mood takes them and give the most appealing I'm half staved and completely neglected look that makes you feel guilty not to share.

I’m getting a corgi soon and my entire wishlist is so full of cute dog stuff my family and friends won’t have to worry about thinking up a birthday or Xmas gift for me for decades. It’s truly a slippery slope but I’m fully prepared and excited to have my house taken over with dog things! Here’s hoping it will look as chic as your place does 😂

So true I would have put no 7 first. Also when you add corgi no2 in the mix you need a bigger bed. Willow is so like my Berry and Logan is the cheeky chappy in our lives. Bye the way how often do you get the " I thought it was the Queen coming " remarks or is that just an English thing. Oh and we were mobbed in Scotland by Japanese tourists who just wanted pictures of the corgi to show their friends back home...we were ignored !!! I will definitely need a bigger bed if I get a second corgi haha! I do also get comments about the queen here, it's usually, "is that the queen's dog?" or some form of that question!
I have been saying to myself and others "I need a dog". Their response is always "no you just want one, not a need". It feels like everyone I know is able to have a dog yet I haven't had my time to get one yet. I'm still hoping 2021 is the year and within the next 2.5 months, I will have a dog. I'm looking to rescue so I go on pet finder daily but feel like I haven't found the one where I know in my heart it's the dog for me.
If you aren't sure, I would recommend fostering! It helps local rescues and lets you have a "trial" period with a dog before fully commiting. We fostered an adult dog before adopting and thought it's really helpful.
I think it’s important to train your dog to want walks when you feel you can do them. Luke if you aren’t a morning person, then it’s okay to start the first walk at 1 pm, and second at 6 pm.

My puppy corgi when I first got him was a lot of fucking work. Their were more days of me being overwhelmed then relaxed but as he got older it’s switched thankfully

My pem corgi is almost a year old and he barely sheds
Willo doesn't shed as much as some corgis, but her shedding definitely increased after a year old! So your pup's might too lol
Dogs are like having kids that never grow up.
Please don't get a puppy if you work 40h not at home and can't bring your pup 😱 teaching a dog to be comfortable to be home alone is a whole process, plus when they're so young, they shouldn't be left alone for 4h😬
