Beautiful Dagger from "Game of Thrones" - Restoration ASMR

In this video I will show my restoration of an extremely beautiful and rare dagger in the "Stiletto" style. The dagger was in very poor condition, covered in corrosion, dirt and rust. It was found among things in the attic of an old house that was planned to be demolished. It is a family heirloom of the person who gave it to me for restoration, so I tried to make the result as perfect as possible. The dagger is made of brass, steel and the handle is made of Bakelite. A beautiful and mysterious pattern was carved on the surface. What can it mean? I think this particular dagger is made to order, because it has noticeable handmade details. Presumably, such vintage daggers were once used to open letters. They were also used as decoration in the house. Before the restoration, the dagger looked very mystical and unique. Perhaps rituals were once performed with it? Maybe this dagger was used as a weapon? But I could be wrong. If you know more information, write in the comments. I am very interested in where it was made, by whom and in what year.

And it has the ring of plated base metal. It’s a cool looking, maybe vintage, dagger and you made it look beautiful.

10. That definitely looked like Bakelite, which makes it 1940s or 1950s. I suspect the crest may refer to family or business. I bought a vintage letter opener from Cypress. The inscription referred to the government job held by the official. California. I would prefer if you described the liquids, even if they are always the same. I feared for the Bakelite in acid but it turned out fine. Ignore the trolls.

Nice video, great job. But it's not a Dagger. No bladesmith will do a blade screwed to the tang except for decoration purpose. It's probably a paper cutter.

Just assembling the cable, which required aligning the parts. On the other hand, there was no need to (and perhaps should not) polish the parts that would be fitted. But these are just details that do not detract in any way from the final work.@@TheRestorer
