    Hey everyone! 🤙🏼
    After speaking to the good people at Punch Equipment, for the month of October they’re doing a 25% off for both Fuerte Elite AND Ultra Models!!!
    If you’re wondering about the Ultra model, it’s actually a Winning inspired glove, and in currently in the process of training with them at the gym. I know I haven’t done a review on them yet, but they are the best Winning style/ clone glove I’ve used. Yes, better than c17, win 1, and a few others. They’re amazing gloves and I’m surprised more people don’t know about them.
    The Ultras also have a super broken in feel, comfortable hand compartment, and the padding is very Winning like, balanced, but a little more on the cushy side.
    Can’t wait to do the review! 🥊🤙🏼🔥

      I recently picked up their ULTRA face saver. These guys are no joke... They manage the same weight as winning while using genuine leather. The padding, stitching, and quality on their products are excellent. I may pick up their mexican fuerte headguard next. I have no reason to get an fg5000; and I prefer their lining since it prevents movement. Honestly, I think with a little more exposure, they could be winning's strongest competition. The one downside I saw on the face savers are that winning uses sizes.

    Hello,
    Thanks again for the earlier reply. One last question...Could you tell me which glove provides better hand, wrist, and knuckle protection, this glove or the Combat Corner one sparring glove. (I wouldn't spring for the Ultras, too expensive right now), but they have a deal on this glove in the hybrid version.) I'm looking for a comfortable glove with great support for under $200. Thanks again. Brandon

      Must watch! Great card all around, even the lopez Molina fight was great. Benavidez is our local favorite here in AZ and he did what I expected him to do. Spence Porter was an amazing fight, it was great to see Spence pushed to his limits and Porter did a great job. Hopefully Spence will face Crawford or Pacquiao next

    Hello how would you compare these to the RIVAL RFX-GUERRERO-V BAG GLOVES - HDE-F I’m looking a good pair of bag gloves

  • @yebohang
    @yebohang Před 4 lety +3

    Used these gloves for about a year. Weren't too bad. Felt comfortable and good for sparing. A little light on the padding I thought. Down side was the leather began to tear at the cuff. Was pretty disappointed. Lower quality leather in my opinion. I think I had an earlier version of the glove because mine look a bit different. Mine also didn't have double stitching. Punch are trying to make a mid tier glove and equipment. Better than the crap you buy like everlast, but not as high quality as the Mexicans make.

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks for your feedback on these gloves, hopefully they were an earlier model and Punch has improved on them. I’ve seen them around for a while now and happy to have tried them. The new Fuerte Ultra model quality is really good, obviously not winning level, but the glove is super comfortable and the padding is perfectly balanced imo. The leather is very nice as well and probably around the same quality as infinitude.

    If only the winning clones were only lace up with out the hybrid strap design.

    • @TooBizarreJulian
      @TooBizarreJulian Před 3 lety

      well that's because the velcro on the winning is the worst part besides the pricing. if you want laces, you save up a bit and get winning. if not, get a velcro clone with better wrist protection i guess

    Haven’t been able to make my mind up for months on new gloves. Just looking for a comfortable fit and quality feel/performance on something that isn’t over priced for what it is. You think these gloves are worth it or is there a better option? You compared these to heavy hitters which are $100 compared to these which are almost $200. Is the quality that much better?

    Punch make good stuff.
    Good quality and a good price point.
    Their Trophy Getters (16oz and 18oz) are probably their best glove in terms of features, durability, performance, quality, and cost; in my opinion.
    The gloves you have there - Punch’s Mexican Fuerte Elite - Boxing Gloves - are nice, but . . . . .
    They will not last long if they're not allowed to dry out in between use and/or used for anything other than sparring.
    As - just like many original/early Mexican gloves and some Cleto Reyes gloves - they easily rip up both; (ii) at the seam on the back just above the velcro strip; and also (ii) around thumb area.
    In almost every area Punch’s Trophy Getters are, if not better than, then easily as good as Punch’s Mexican Fuerte Elite Boxing Gloves; including price - as they're much less expensive.
    In fact they're usually half the price.
    And they don’t rip up as easily in the aforementioned places.
    So, basically the Trophy Getters cost 50% as much as the Mexican Fuerte Elite Boxing Gloves and they last longer.
