To anyone considering this glove and still feeling uncertain, trust me - just get them. I've been using a 16oz pair for bagwork and overall training 5-6 days a week, for about a year now. They hold up well, and are ridiculously comfortable from the get-go. Great for my longer fingers as well!
TLDR: 1000/10 would recommend.

I keep replaying your videos to get an idea of which glove to buy! I've had Cleto Reyes in the past and ended up not liking it because the feedback rattled my bones so much and made my knuckles sore. The Win1 is awesome but too pillowy for splitting guards in sparring. The c17's feel good but also kinda cheap.
tldr: My question, since you've tried both the Elite and Ultra, for someone that wants a durable glove, good protection for the user but still has a good feel on the bag without the recoil of a Reyes glove, which of these would you prefer? Elite or Ultra?
Hey Carlo, just giving you an update on those foam sheet knuckle pads that I made. It seems to hold up, but it does get a bit hard over time because of sweat, but for .99c a sheet its not a big deal to replace it when it does get hard eventually. As for the impact absorption I think a heavier weight/hitter would need a double layer of the foam.

I'm looking to purchase new gloves and I've narrowed my decision down to either the Fuerte Ultra or the Topboxer customs - could you recommend one over the other for general training purposes (mostly heavy bag/mitt work)? I'm' leaning toward the Topboxer Custom given the price point of $150 vs. $200 for the PE Fuerte - thoughts?
Go with heavy hitters, same gloves as Fuerte ultra but cheaper 😉

very different gloves, these are more broken in and comfortable will less stiff padding

That’s a toss up, both great gloves but I give the punch equipment the slight edge

The elite have "snug fit" on the instead of the relax fit on the ultra. Have you noticed the ultra to be bulky compared to the elite?
Not at all, I think the Ultra is actually a little smaller than the elite.

Not similar to pro mex, different leather, padding, and shape. I like these a lot more.

@@francisfrancis4219 once broken in they are pretty good. Still hard on your knuckles if you have more sensitive hands but they are very durable gloves

Fuerte gloves are amazing gloves and i have a pair. But the PUNCH BLACK DIAMOND GLOVES ARE EVEN BETTER IN MY OPINION! THE BLACK DIAMOND ARE AWESOME GLOVE FOR SMASHING A 500 pound bag

Like many other brands/gloves with this style/design; they still have the same (ripping) issues as per my other post ( czcams.com/video/ALHSyZrnq_A/video.html ) on (the earlier model of) these (same) gloves.
As such Punch’s Trophy Getters (16oz and 18oz) are still the better option/glove.
In fact they're (Punch’s 18oz Trophy Getters) one of my favorite brand of gloves.

For feel and comfort definitely the Fuerte although the quality of the Reyes is hard to beat. Just 2 different types of gloves.
