@PrizzaMike Guys!!! Thats the belt tensioner on the ‘07 / ‘08 Silver V36 6MT. Most likely its that or another pulley. My car had a similar noise but it was much LOUDER I thought my new engine was blown 😂 had only 43K miles out of a 350Z HR.

To that G35 engine ticking, I had a Golf at my shop, a couple of years ago with a very similar noise, it was the accesory belt tensioner. I think you guys are on a right track, with the diagnosis.

12:19 Apart from all the comments saying that it's likely a pulley or something of that matter, if i remember right, i believe VQs do have a variable timing gear, those actually get loose (not unbolted, but loose like, play) from use and mileage and then they rattle, it's a huge problem on STi's and such. That could explain the difference between banks

The noise definitely sounds like a pulley,check the ac pulley nissan ac clutches love to delete themselves.as far as the running rough on one bank try to seafoam the oil because the cam phasers love to get gunked up when the oil isn't changed often.pull out the timing solenoids and brake clean the screens as they collect sludge and gunk as well.common vq things

@04:45, yeah grip cars def need super fn soft suspension with the stiffest fn swaybars you can find. this will prevent body roll and ensure the best traction for tires available. stiff coils causes hop and hop means less traction. no bueno.

should laser cut or 3d print a one off bracket plate for the coil plugs and use that to make/help other people following your steps in also doing a swap like your ka swap in the 300 when they wanna do coils as well .

i got my gloria piece ordered, i love the content dude been watching for i think 2 years now, love the vids man keep it up
@16:30 #M double sidded tape, first heat up the side skirts with a heat gun, this will allow the fiber to flex 10X more then it does now. to better form to the car. then clean both surfaces with 3m bonding primer. then apply tape. dont sleep on 3m glue primer, that shit WORKS.. tape will never come off until you again, use a heat gun and then pry it off.

G35 sounds like it's tike to do timing tensioners. I had the same sound. Redid all the timing and it was goated until it got rear ended
