In this excerpt, VICE News correspondent Kaj Larsen embeds with an operational air wing provided by private military contractors to the Nigerian military for their invasion of the city of Bama. Aboard an MI-24 Hind attack helicopter, one of the most lethal pieces of military hardware, we witness an air assault on one of the terrorist organization’s last strongholds.

I honestly lose faith in humanity when I read CZcams comments. What the hell is wrong with people? It's sickening! Nigeria is a very rich oil nation. This is from a previous 3 part series of the advance the Nigerian army made on Boko Haram. I honesty can't with the amount of racism constantly being hurled at black people. This army is well equipped and doing a good job in dismantling Boko Haram, but all things take time. Kudos to the army for their efforts to root out Islamist terrorism from Nigerian soil.

The Hind Gunship is probably my all time favorite instrument of death and destruction, so I was really excited to watch the whole documentary. It was immensely disappointing. Just to clarify, I did not expect to see little people on the ground shredded to bits with body parts and explosions everywhere. But it was incredibly anti climactic. Each shot is only a couple seconds long, it felt like a really bad preview for the real air assault on Bama. Everything was leading up to this, for what? 25 seconds of actual mission footage when he even says they were up for a couple hours. It's like they intentionally chose the worst footage that showed as little as possible.
