- Tim, ever the party animal, has a range of entertaining tricks to fool people, make them think, and to make them laugh.
First of all, a subtle trick with Tim's appearance... what is wrong?
Tim's T-shirt folding trick - many a free drink has resulted from this one.
Can you retrieve the bank note?
Games with corks... and how to get a cork out of a bottle when it has been pushed all the way in.
Balancing cans - apparently invented by a Spanish professor. Was he in a bar at the time?
Finally, flipping coasters. Practice makes perfect! - Věda a technologie
You can tell Tim's fun at parties just because he walks in with his shoes on the wrong feet.
I like how he just keeps them that way the whole video as if it wasn't totally uncomfortable to have his shoes on the wrong feet.
Apparently he's had them on the wrong feet for the last 30 years.
@@dickJohnsonpeter That's probably what was putting him off catching the beer mats at the end.
Gen Alpha - [*A picture of an apple*]
Gen Z - E
The Millennial Generation - The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start
Generation X - YELLING IS FUNNY!
The Boomer Generation - rebelling is funny because life is easy
The Silent Generation - ... there is no humor, only suffering
The G.I generation - Tojo lol
The Lost Generation - funny dancing cartoons, what a palaver, oo get you
The Tim - m y s h o e s a r e o n t h e w r o n g f e e t 😏HEH WOW
Also people will be taking their shirts off. Sounds like a good time.
Tim being able to do the coaster trick after so many attempts made me smile, no editing done it's a one take that shows the skill required for it and the others shown
"The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried"
exactly, i love this man
I'm thinking the tables at a different height than he's used to
I was shouting words of encouragement at my screen as Tim tried getting the coaster trick down
I'm glad i wasn't the only one
I was watching this in bed and dropped off, I woke up and he was still doing it.
@@DavidB-rx3km my guy this video is only 9 minutes
@@stevendemayo3631 I just nodded off and woke shortly after. 😀
I did that too.
Tim's perseverance paid off!
spoiler alert
How
Spoiler alert
I would have given up😮. But he shows you in life you fail and you try again, cuz as long as you try there's that chance of success.
Looked really good, worth the effort. Glad he didn't edit it, kind of rare these days but very freshing
Tim is the digital era of Mr Rogers, Bob Ross wholesomeness. Always watch start to finish and in a better mood after.
that's how real content feels - I like it, too
You know he's English, right?
Definitely
@@ruzziasht349 So what? Only Americans are allowed to be nice?
@@experi-mentalproductions5358 What? Never noticed Americans were nice, not even once. It's a country that's on it's way to hell, and there's nothing that can be done to stop that.
I was thinking there is only one way this can end good, and then he did it, and all is well and we can continue with our day.
If I went to a party with this guy I'd have a good time but also lose all my money on bets
He's like everyone's favourite grand parent :)
The man needs to buy all those toys somehow :D
Just bet that he's gonna have 1 mediocre party trick and seven buzzkills.
What I liked about Tim's perseverance is that he could have easily edited his failures out but deliberately choose not to...❤️ Thanks for showing us that Success doesn't come cheap or easy and that's the most beautiful part about it. Kudos sir, huge respect.
I love the fact that 1/3 of the video is Tim failing the trick. Lmao
This makes a case for editing
@@MushookieMan nah, mad respect for leaving it in. We all fail sometimes and it really humanizes him
@@acdeeiprrt after all i was starting to believe Tim was a higher being
It was SO worth it when he immediately deadpanned "that was easy" 🤣🤣🤣
@@MushookieMan no, this is GREAT
I would've watched him keep going for another 30 minutes
That’s the beauty of the human spirit. The real ones among us genuinely want to see others win, and will wait as long as it takes until they do. 🫶
noone is stopping you. I sure did binge watch this channel
At no point was I ever going to stop watching until he did it!
This guy is awesome
He reminds me of my grandpa
Yeah me too
Thank you, Tim! Now I have remembered the way my dear grandfather folded t-shirts in 1980’s. Hello from Moscow… 🙏
I love Tim so much. Just a pure soul who knows have to share his fun and happiness with others! And now teaching us to never give up! ❤️
Every time I tune into Grand Illusions, I feel like James Bond getting briefed by Q 😂
i haven’t seen this guy since i was like 7 i’m 16 now how have you been tim i love the content
I've been watchin him since I was 16 now I'm 23.
How long has he been on youtube??
@@gintokisan5171 since like 2005 I think maybe earlier
@@gintokisan5171 2008. It says so on the channel

Tim, you almost killed me when you said "that was easy" 🤣
“You never fail to amaze me”
Who are you quoting?
@@truefantasia23 exactly, the comment makes no sense lol
If someone could make a 24 hour loop of Tim trying to catch the coasters, that would be an amazing party trick to show in itself 😅
the self-encouragement at the end was so precious 🥰
may we all encourage ourselves like Tim 🙏
I love calm videos like these.
In general i just like when Tim enjoys himself off cam, even if it breaks up the pace.
Perhaps even because it breaks up the pace.
Best ending ever! If if anyone is lucky enough to have a long life they too fully understand the frustrations of your body not wanting to do exactly what you want to do. ❤ but with a few more tries you did it anyway! I’m 54 so I’m feeling it coming in big time.
Oh gracious! That shirt-folding method! I'm so glad more people will be hearing about it - I've been spreading it among my friends for some time now, but I find myself wishing I could see it shared with everybody.
Words can’t describe how much I love and adore this man.
8:45 How Souls players feel when they defeat a boss on their 45th try.
Simply love the content on this channel. The videos are lighthearted and good fun and Tim is very charming. I first found this channel when it had adverts on CZcams, maybe ten years ago(?), and hope to continue another ten. Thank you, Tim!
He's right! He sure knows how to get an exciting party started.
Tim, I don't think us youngsters would do any better in that game! Great content as always.
Speak for yourself.😊
Everyone gets old man you'll discover your body slowing down eventually and it's just delusion to pretend it doesn't happen. I bet the zoomers of today won't have the patience to keep trying when they get to his age. They'll stop after 3 failures.
Love the tenacity Tim!! hehe :-)
Loved that this randomly came up on my feed. Made even more so by Tim being so real! No editing. Just great theatre. Thank you, Tim.
I love how wholesome this is, in a evermore perverse world.
D man knows how to get a party started 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂awesome ❤
We love you Tim!! Thanks for sharing these tricks with all of us. Sending you love and well wishes from the other side of the world 😍❤
That was the best 2 minutes of Grand Illusions I’ve ever seen.
Thanks for leaving that in there Tim & Co, glad to see your determination!!!😊
Love it! Basic good hearted humor and easy to learn tricks! Very well done!
Time to watch my friends spend hours trying to catch the coasters.
8:41 that was seriously impressive Tim!
I revisit this channel every now and then, glad you're going strong Tim, much love
Those are some jolly party tricks, thank you Tim!
tim analyzing his process at the end reminded me of watching someone play dark souls
It has been such a long while since stumbling on one of Tim’s videos. I am glad you are still doing good and uploading! Always wonderful to see your excellent and fascinating material 😊
Yo, not gonna lie- after a long day of work with dreary weather, a cup of tea and one of Mr. Tim's toy videos makes things better.
And I'm American, normally I throw tea in the harbor.
his voice is so calming. thanks for years of great content.
Uncle Tim you're not old....you're a treasure and a blessing.
Nice lesson there for not being discouraged by failure. It made the successful attempt more rewarding to see.
My day is brightened by this man
I actually cheered out when he got it! Nicely done!!
just found the channel through this video, but watching you try at the end means the world. i'm not young, but i'm not old, and seeing someone work their way through something i think is far more helpful than all the instruction that can be given. thank you. subscribed.
Doing the coaster trick at the end of a 5+ minute take was a bold move! I love that you're never afraid to show an accurate depiction of executing a trick. Besides, it's still probably faster than we're going to get it done at a party!
This is so much fun. Thanks, Tim.
I've been folding shirts like that for years now. Such a useful technique.
I was watching this with an almost finished beer on the desk beside me, so I tried the tilted can thing, and it worked immediately. So cool!
Legend has it Tim, is still in a dark room flicking beermats with his shoes on the wrong feet.
Great one of the old school.
Much respect for this generation.
Reminds me of watching all those Dad's Army episodes 💜👍👍👍👏
Hey Tim!, Ive been watching you since i was 8 years old now Im 14! ❤️❤️ My childhood hero aswell
Such a funny guy , just like Jim Carrey. Haha. Makes me laugh so hard and so much. Hahahahaha. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My gosh, I really enjoyed that last bit of the vid and Tim finally succeeding! 😊😊
Literally the most suspenseful video on the internet. WILL HE SUCCEED!??
Definitely more Kandee on YT! You bring light wherever you are ❤
Tim is actually a universal constant. His number of attempts is your universe's number. I'm from 43.
Bloody love this. 😂❤ Randomly came up on my feed. Never searched for anything like this before - guess the algo gods were just smiling on me.
I enjoy these videos far more than I should.
You make me so happy Tim, thank you
Love that he didn't give up. Nicely done Tim!
Love the T-Shirt fold. Thanks Tim.
That last trick... great job Tim FIIRRST TRYYYYY!
Coaster trick looks so smooth when Tim nails it on the end. Appreciate the stickwithitness!
I love this man like my own grandpa. God bless him
"Tims got his shoes on the wrong feet".
"He's got old quick, you should see him catch"😊🤭
This man reminds me so much of my Grandpa and Grandpa Jon; they were/are former woodshop teachers who growing up, showed my sister and me so many little toys and puzzles they learned how to create throughout the years.
There is never a day I don't regret not going out into the shop with Grandpa, but at least for a little while longer, I can muddle about in Grandpa Jon's shop while he sits nearby listening to me talking through what I'm doing.
TL;DR, take the time today to be with those you love, as they may leave you sooner than you think.
You will never grow old Tim !
A quick edit and the coaster trick would've been seen as a success without all the failures, but honesty got the best of Tim!
Thank you! I had a cork inside a cool glass bottle I want to reuse and finally got to solve it. Great work!
Excellent tricks
Presentation is a big part of it and you help with that as well
Came for the tricks.
Stayed for the charming old man.
I want to go to one of these parties tim goes to
Hi Tim. Love your videos. The coaster trick….. I have perfected it. It’s all about moving forward rather than up, with your hand already open in a “C” shape. Works every time. If it’s unclear, I can send you a video.👍
We need the video. How hasn’t anyone said this after 5 months since your comment.
That first trick was great. I kept looking and thinking "it has to be the shoes, but I don't see it" so even if you know the trick it still works.
Oooooh! Grumph grumph grumph.. Come on! Young man's game... That's it, bit higher... come on.. Oooh! COME ONNNNN- Grrrr! HAHAHAHA!!!
Loved every second of that. I was shouting COME ON TIM!! You can do it! :)
after 30 seconds of the coaster trick, I checked the video preview and had to laugh when the entire lst 2 and a half minutes was him trying to do the trick. Absolutely hilarious, thanks for keeping it all in lmao
Tim's not getting to old. I would argue that he's actually getting younger.
Few weeks ago while having a beer after work with some of my colleagues I stumbled on that can trick by accident. After finding the sweet spot I left my near empty can balancing on its edge in plain view. My colleague freaked out. Priceless!
Oh Tim, much love from across the pond!
HEEeeeeeckkkkkkkkkkkkk yesssssssssssss TIM! That was excellent. And what an incredible mic drop.
The best party trick? Never giving up at the party of life.
Very cool tricks! Definitely going to practice with the beer coasters! Good job.
I like watching these videos he's a nice old guy spending his later years having fun and showing off his neat tricks and toys I like to see him so happy about getting a trick just right fooling his audience it makes me smile I hope I'll be happy and cool like this guy
Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱👍❤
True roll model. Good to see you again!
Loved the leaning can trick. Done flipping the coaster many times, but only with a single one.
Brilliant! - You're a legend Tim :)
These are great! Always love your videos!
2:50 You can also slam your first on the table and pull the bill at the same time for extra dramatic effect
I would love to see a showcase of Tim's favorite magic tricks
One of my favorite illusions is video editing. It can make numerous trick attempts look like just one.
the second I saw Tim sitting like that I knew exactly what he was doing that's how long I've been watching this channel (the long time fans will understand)
The coaster flip trick is easier when you've had a few pints. 😉🍻
That T-shirt trick is SO COO! And useful. I'll never fold a T-shirt any other way from now on.
And I love how he failed with the coasters and didn't cut the video and only show the successful try. That's honest.
👍
This is why you don’t miss rehearsal Tim
This made me feel observant when I clicked the video and went "are his shoes on backward?"
I love this man great work persevering on that last trick
