Second edit: Bert is a genuinely good dude for trying to work this out with him. It's good content but i can feel him being split between camps and trying to correct his buddy. Which we all need at times.

You could count on 1 hand the amount of active comics that would have the balls to rip a SERIOUS dig at Joe on that show. Not to even mention the quickness.. That's why Normand is amazing and probably why Joe enjoys his company. The only other person I can see doing that is Tim Dillon. Mark is phenomenal. That being said, I'm here because I fucking love Shane, but that one really caught my attention.

With people in general you just have to expand on the statement one is making, so it doesn't just come off as a dig. But more of pokey observation. And anyone with sufficient self confidence will roll with it.
