You have a sink....with a pump. a fridge, a hanging wardrobe and a TOILET....all in a camper shell! Wow!.....KUDOS 👍😊
Thank you Leila. :-)
Yes he's does, and the craftsmanship is outstanding, watch video again just looking at the work. That is exactly what I'm looking to do.
Now a question? You said the fridge doesn't have a compressor, how does it cool. ???
@@garyschoonmaker1486 ammonia
@@garyschoonmaker1486 Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Somehow I didn't see your question. That fridge used a semiconductor plate for cooling. It's not very effective inside a vehicle. I replaced the fridge a while back with a compressor fridge. It performs much better.
I like how you put thought into making this a true Camper instead of just a mattress with some storage like most ppl do with a Truck Shell. I would imagine if a Company were to do this with greater precision, it'd be easily sellable.
Thank you!
I am STUNNED....a sink, fridge, toilet....and a hanging wardrobe in a camper-shell! .....wow...☺👍
Already stored in the 10 liter toilet tank.
Especially in something as small as a Ford Ranger. Well done!
Wow! This is by far the best truck camper build I have seen. Ive been researching for many months. I can’t afford a slide in camper so I thought this style would be a good solution. Now I have a great floor plan to replicate. Thank you for the great video.
Hello Jennifer. I'm glad the video is helping you with your project. I will release an updated video soon. Stay tuned!
This absolutely GENIUS! I had a setup just like this and never imagined it could be a functional little camper. This is the best truckbed camper I've seen
Thank you for your comment. It's not necessarily the most practical but it works for us.
So rare to find a camper of this size with a toilet. Very cool!
Thank you!
I've seen many homemade "campers" in my time......this is one of the very best. Good job.
Thank you!!!
You’ve done an amazing job on your truck cap camper! Thank you for sharing.
I like the birds singing in the background 👍🏽
Thank you!
I am absolutely amazed at how well you utilized the small space you have. You even put a toilet in there! The work you did is outstanding. I don’t have those skills myself. Very nice set up.
The guy is a genius!
I believe this is the cleanest camper top camper build on you tube
Thank you!
A very nice clean installation. So many of these are messy and cluttered. Very well done.
Thank you!
Great setup. Please don't listen to the rude or hateful comments. You did a great job utilizing the space you have versus the space everyone thinks you need. I have a set up similar built off of a 6*8 utility bed that I put into a 5*8 trailer. Keep up the great work! Cheers.
Truck camped for 6 wks, 7,800 miles around the country in a Niss Xtra Cab...while it was a blast, if I had seen your Vid. first, I would have made some changes. Great use of space.
Thank you!
This is an excellent set up! I've always owned Rangers! Had my mom's 1987 Ranger that ended up with 600,000 actual miles that the original clutch broke and I couldn't afford to fix it. I love this set up! Really thought out! I enjoy your adventures! Thank you very much!
Thank you!
You've created a beautiful, bright and airy travel cabin with all the life support systems necessary in an ergonomic, neat, and attractive layout.
Your meticulous attention to detail is evident in the ease of access to your water and electrical systems, and how well integrated it all is.
The tailgate makes for a convenient tabletop/work surface for outdoor washing, cooking or food preparation.
Your travel cabin is elegantly simple and simply elegant!
Felix Cat you sound creepy
Thank you for your comment. The camper has evolved in a few details since then. One of these days I'll do an update video.
It's neat to see how people can for all these things into such a small place!
Yes, and everyone does it differently too. Lots of neat ideas out there :-)
I love how you set this up and designed it. It looks fabulous!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much! 😊 I'm glad you like it.
Very well done. As a cabinet maker and avid overland truck camping, I appreciate the quality of the work you put into it. Great design and construction.
Thank you very much!
It’s amazing what he has fit in that little truck cap.
What an amazing vehicle
Very simple, me gusta mucho tu set-up. You managed to put all the chore time toward the cab and lots of relax area toward the rear... Great inspiration and idea for my build!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for commenting.
Great setup and very functional indeed!! Thanks
Thank you!
Spotless what more can you say!
Great use of space! The cap is taller than most really awesome, outstanding job!
Thank you very much!
I admire the attention to details. Very well organized
Very interesting. You put a lot of thought into it.
Wow I really really like your setup. It's like a mini RV inside of a truck camper shell. Your electrical setup is just awesome. Love how you can hook up to shore power as well.
Thank you! It is mostly the result of very careful planning to fit everything in such a limited space.
@@sinrumbo1 yes absolutely. Looking forward to your adventures. I am just started to get into overlanding. I haven't taken any adventures just yet. My truck is now at a stage where I feel she is ready to go (along with my family of 5).
@@RolandoNispiros I looked at you videos. Your Chevy looks cool. You'll have some great times overlanding with your kids. They will remember these trips for ever! Enjoy.
@@sinrumbo1 thank you, yes my kids enjoy the truck already and we haven't even been overlanding yet. Only slept in the truck in front of our house just to try it out. We are ready for the real deal now. Will be watching more of your videos as well. You have some great land out there.
Amazing set up for a mid size truck. I just bought a GMC Canyon, and will use some of your ideas. Thank you for making this video
Thank you and good luck with your project. I'm glad the video is helpful.
Not only you speak 3 different languages but you are an awesome engineer! Thank you for sharing your build sir🤠
Thank you for your nice words. Much appreciated!
This is a very nice video brilliantly done I'm talking about your camper give me some ideas for sure thank you for taking the time to show us
Brilliant! The outside profile is also great. I would never suspect you had an entire house in there! Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
👍 Well done! Happy travels! 😎
Very attractive, comfortable and effective use of space.
thanks' for sharing, I got some great ideals for dry camping.
Thank you.
Very nice compact but has everything you need! Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I love this! this would be perfect for my 20 yr old son!
I'm glad you like it. Thanks for your comment.
Very clever and purposeful layout in such a small space
Thank you.
Very nicely done. We have a 2015 Nissan Frontier (also known as NP300 I believe) with fiberglass shell. There is no storage cabinets or bed/couch - just a cot and truck bed carpeting. You've given me some ideas. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad you picked up a few ideas.
Great build! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching.
This is actually a pretty simple set up. I love it. Gives me some ideas.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad the video was useful to you.
Very well thought out and built set up. The only thing that a lot of people don't think about is batteries give off gas during charging and use. If installed inside like yours, you should use small computer fan and dryer type hose to vent to out side. You have a great set up there, enjoy it!!!
Thanks for your comment Steve. I have been using sealed batteries, plus there is space and air coming from around the tailgate so there is some ventilation. But you're right that that is something to think about during the design, mostly for such a small space.
Wonderful...Love the marine post solution for adding dining table!! Kudos!!
Thank you!

Very ingenious design 👍. I'm quite a simple guy with simplest settup. I use a futon for couch and bed. Everything I have in the camper are instantly portable
Sounds great! Thank you for your comment.
You have an amazing build! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
Very well thought out design for such a small pick up truck. I've seen larger trucks here on CZcams that are not as well put together. Nice job enjoy it.
Thank you!
Brilliant conversion , well done I like it.👍🇬🇧

I love this set up!!

Really well done, a solid and smart job.Génial!
Fantastic job, what a great setup!!!
Thank you!
Great set up ,hope to learn from you
Thank you!
Great job, both on the camper build and on your presentation.
WOW! Great job!
Thank you!
You done a great job and you have a great attitude! Thank you for that! Im not negative but the only thing i wouldve done different i wouldve put my plug to hook up in campground in a different place where i could shut my tailgate and topper especialy in bad weather. I just got a high top topper 2 days ago for my 94 2500 Ram long bed. I want to thank you for your video it has realy helped me especialy on a tight budget. I tore down a 26 ft. Camper a few years ago. I kept my cushions like yours my tear down table and many other things that i had forgot bout till you came along. I gave away alot of good things to help others that wouldve came in handy but glad others were helped. The way you did your roof is awesome and that was my main concern on how i was going to do mine. Thanks my friend and have a great day!
Thank you so much to tke time to write your comment. I'm glad the video was helpful. Cheers.
Looks good! Love the cap height. I think the weak point is using the inverter to convert DC power to AC. There's a lot of battery power lost in the conversion. You need a 12v fridge, and the laptop should already use DC through USB. The inverter is nice when you have shore power, but day to day it should be off, IMO. I want to do a similar setup in my 8ft bed Silverado but having a hard time finding a reasonably priced cap that's tall enough. I just got quoted almost $6K USD for an ARE MX series with a bedrug and headliner. Crazy times.
I went with a house fridge just because 12V fridges here in Argentina are hard to cmoe by and they are also very expensive. All imported electronics is very pricey. But your comment makes sense if you live in North America or Europe.
I’m impressed. Congrats
Thank you!
That's awesome.. Great job
That's awesome 😊👍👍
Great setup!
Thanks David. I have been enjoying it a lot.
נוח, עם שרותים. 👍❤
Comfortable, with toilet (very important), and a space of life (living room). I like it.
Thank you!
Wow superb set up
Thanks a lot.
Very well thought out. Excellent job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome!!!
Very nice indeed.
Really like your setup. I am building something very similar but with an over-cab as well. If I had it to do over again, I might just get me a high topper like yours :)
Thanks for your comment and good luck with your project.
Thus is amazing! Awesome job!
Thank you!
For the ones wanting more height. You can builds sides on top of your bed rails all the way around and then set your topper on top of the lift. Ive seen some done that looks junky and ridiculous but i have seen some that took pride and homework in their work and done it right and it looked great but also very sturdy and safe to handle the topper secure. But if you do this there will be a lot more wind resistance and fuel mileage is not going to be good but you will have a lot more head room. Weigh the pros and cons in everything including life before you do anything.
Great helpful comment. Thank you for it!
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls
Very nicely done. Great job.

This setup ranks up there with KayakAdventures 36" ARE DCU cap with stove, microwave, sink, toilet, 360 degree DVR surveillance camera setup.
Great design!

Great setup

Excellent!

If you need more outside space, you can add an expandable type awning for shade and wet weather. These take up very little room and set-up is easy.
Nice build. Very well thought out.
Thank you!
Fantastic design and construction!
Thank you very much!

Very nice.
Doing this with an 8ft bed Silverado. 6 cylinder 23 mpg will be a welcome change,
