Not only was he an amazing person, but he was also an openly gay man looking for voice acting at a time where people in the LGBTQ+ community were heavily discriminated against and unfortunately we still are. What an amazing man. Definitely the definitive voice of Batman in my head. Rest in peace.
Absolutely! For anyone reading this, I would recommend reading the story Kevin wrote in this year's DC Pride comic. It's both a haunting and powerful story.

Kevin Conroy was Batman. No offense to any of the live actors or other voice actors, but no one has portrayed Batman with the same mastery as Kevin Conroy.
We're always gonna have hundreds of hours of his voicework to enjoy. And maybe now we can get some different and good Batman voices. I always loved Bruce Greenwood as Batman too.
Its weird because normally when "celebrities" pass I dont feel much but recently 2 "celebrities" that have shaped enormous parts of life passed away, those 2 being Kevin Conroy and Kentaro Miura. Both legitimately felt like losing friends.
I felt much the same way when both Carrie Fisher and Chadwick Boseman passed away. Definitely a bizarre feeling to cry over the death of a famous person you never knew. However I think it’s a pretty clear testament to all the positivity that their work and personalities brought into the world.
This has been a horrible year for Batman fans. Dennis O'Neil, Neal Adams, George Perez, Alan Grant, and now Kevin. The world won't be the same without him. Hopefully they're all in a better place
