      Thank you.
      About your question, I rarely keep the sneakers that are futured on my videos.
      That's why I can't say how they are on long term.
      For me are almost like a pair of rubber boots. They have 3/4 rubber upper, so we can't expect that sound will go away over time.
      I see them useful only if you live in a very rainy place and you want to leave your boots at home from time to time because you need to move faster doing your shopping, take the kids from school etc.
      Or you live in a rural area/country side and you need a footwear more resistant to wet grass in the morning, because you like to do hikes or anything similar.
      If you like to run in pouring rain even though they have a lot of rubber... Is not 360° and the tongue/back of the heel are still covered with a synthetic fabric that it will eventually get wet... For those conditions they aren't waterproof enough IMHO.
      Because of pros and cons of this model, if you don't really need that feature, I think the regular "non-waterproof version" is a better and more practical sneaker.
      I hope this helps you somehow!

      @@shahbaazshaikh6792 I really wouldn't recommend that!
      They would build heat very quickly and you gonna end up with sweaty feet in no time.
      They are for walking /running, made for rainy conditions with mud and a lot of water.
      Even the regular "Pegasus 39" I don't recommend for gym when is about weightlifting, because of the soft cushioning midsole, if it would be for heavy lifting weights... you lose stability with them in your feet.
      The midsole is too soft for that and the sole is not wide enough, here NB FF 1080 are having the sole more wide... maybe more stable on the ground, but still not made for the weightlifting.
      Normally we don't use "running sneakers" for weightlifting. For "that" we have dedicated footwear (i.e like Nike METCON 8, Nike Romaleos 4... to name few of them).
      For running on the treadmill, is good the regular version of Pegasus 39, no need for "Shield" there, being indoors.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před rokem +2

      @@Surya99999 Not really sure what you meant to say... but if I get it right...This sneakers IS NOT a daily shoe if is not raining outside (you lose comfort in sunny days, because of the upper).
      The regular version would be great for "a daily running shoes for 5-10 km" (Pegasus 39 non-SHIELD version).
      I hope this helps!

      @EasyLifeES  Před rokem

      I haven't try those, so I can't say much about them.
      Seeing the pictures they kinda look similar in many ways aesthetically. The differences that I've notice so far are with the sole in "winflo 9 shield" that are extremely thin , and that can seriously affect the longevity on long them and the fact that they don't have those "bags of air" under the forefoot and heel... And those are helping quite a lot with the sensation of cushioning under your feet. Other than this, I can't say much more without give them a proper try to really see how they are on my feet.
      Thank you for watching this video!

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Maybe if is not any snow on the ground (because on the tongue and lateral on the interior are having some fabric material that it won't be ready for the elements) with the "right kind of socks" (here I'm thinking in some "really" thick merino wool socks to deal correctly with the moisture) they might but, they aren't insulated at all!
      Unless your blood circulation is usually really good on you, you might get away... Otherwise look towards something that is insulated, because you will feel like wearing rubber boots (much lighter and comfy) but, without any warmth inside.
      Hopefully my reply will answer to your question!

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před rokem

      For light rain Nike and Adidas will do... More than a "light rain"... Boots than...
      Sneakers have limited height... Around the ankle... Which is not much.
      Only from the splashes and you will still get wet in both of them... Eventually.

    Pegasus 39 or Pureboost 22? Which one is wider/flat foot friendlier? Thanks!

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před rokem +1

      Hi,
      For wider feet is simply because Pegasus 39 is has Regular and Wide feet options. Adidas hasn't...
      In both these sneakers the soles isn't the greatest. So the longevity can be a problem even though other CZcams's don't say anything about it.
      In the end nothing is perfect, but is worth mentioning the longevity factor also.
      For better sole. New Balance has most of the Fresh Foam models in "Wide" and even "Extra Wide" and they have slightly better soles than those Adidas and Nike's.
      From Nike, Adidas and NB, the Nike is the better choice for cushioning. Those bags of air do make a difference and is nice to have them.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před rokem +1

      If is raining hard it will splash you and you will still get wet.
      They are low cut... So... Any sneaker will have hard time to protect your feet in heavy rain.

    Thanks for the excellent review. I bought these sneakers in size 11US (29cm). I measured the insole, and it seems to be 29.4 cm. Strange, it turns out that for your size the insole is 1cm larger, but for mine it is 0.4cm? Either I measured the insole incorrectly. My foot length is 28.5cm. It turns out that your sneaker size is the insole is 1.3 cm larger than the foot, and my size is the insole is 0.9 cm larger than the foot? I also have Asics gel cumulus 24 11US(28.5cm), they have a 30cm insole. These sneakers are looser and wider for me, although the dimensions are identical to the Nike pegasus 39 shield.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Thank you for watching my video!
      About sizes... they are very confusing all the time. Even in between models of the same brand are differences... So... unless they are very well made, is nothing strange to find ourselves in this "kind of situations".
      About 75% of them (from my experience), are "on point", the rest of it... It's more about luck than anything else.
      I normally try to see if they can lock down my feet in one place correctly. If they fail to do "that", they won't stay... even if the price was close to nothing, because maybe they were on sale at that time. I can ignore being a bit roomy, but if they fail on the other "thing", it's a DEAD END for me.
      Sometimes even the brands are suggesting going size up/down in some models, but that is not always the RIGHT answer.
      It happen to me with where on the webpage they were suggesting going +0.5 size up. In reality "they" completely mess up the proportions and those sneakers that are way more like an arrow SHAPE in the front end of the shoe that anything else and this time they went too far with "the innovating design"!
      So, instead of removing that model from the shelf, they came up with "the brilliant idea"... same as always... Size Up guys/girls! BUT this time THAT is not a solution anymore. Because we will end up using a shoe that already is too big for our feet and the problem remains the same, because I was still able to touch continuously with my toes that front end and THAT creates some CRAZY pressure points for the toes.
      So... WHY should WE destroy our feet, just to spare them losing some moneys ??? When we start to have problems with legs, we can't even imagine how troublesome that can be and how much that will affect the rest of our lives !!!
      IF I was part of an AUTHORITY that supervise any small scale of the footwear that goes out on the market, I would probably had been give them for releasing on the market a product that is VERY potentially "a public health issue" for many people all across the globe and most likely banned that model immediately.
      I believe that every company has a REAL RESPONSIBILITY for what they are releasing same as... let's say... car companies...or... food companies... if their products can harm the public and can create diseases or endanger in any way the public health.
      Because, an adult can protect itself... most of the time. But how about the kids ? You cannot wear his/her shoes to see IF they are well made and it doesn't harm his/hers feet is a stupid way, just because of ...
      So... in short... my simply advice... IF IS NOT COMFY FROM THE FIRST SECOND, just skip that model... seriously!
      The world has a great diversity of footwear and nothing force us to wear something poorly made... IF you know where to "look", you can have good footwear even at lower prices (On Sale, I mean of course).
      These days that has to be an ability for everyone that makes online shopping.
      I personally have NO problem wearing 1-2 seasons old clothes and footwear, IF those have better materials, or the quality is outstanding in comparison with the NEW collection.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Před rokem +2

      "Can they be noisy if you walk around in public?"
      It depends on the environment I suppose:
      - Mall or supermarket - they will be OK (maybe you will only hear the sole that is sticky, being made for wet surfaces while is raining outside and you need to do some running, the upper I don't believe is "that" noisy all though is made from rubber).
      - a quiet class room - probably it can be heard if you are moving around.
      I guess it all depends "how much" you need this feature. Waterproof or without - maybe just go for the regular Pegasus 39 with normal mesh upper... if you don't live in a place like UK for example where it rains quite often and where it makes more sense to choose this version over the regular.
      Is always a trade off somehow... you can't have it perfect without cons in general... for the price is a good shoe in comparison with other options.
      "And are the a durable shoe"
      I didn't keep them. But, as a first impression for "just walking" they will last long enough (I believe), for intensive running - the sole will suffer quickly being made from multiple rubber parts that can come off after awhile... especially the smaller ones.

      I believe that best guidance will be to try ask a podiatrist.
      That being said, most of the sneakers (if not all) have flat footbeds that means with a flat third-party insole they might be "the way you need".
      Like you've seen my foot is different, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
