Is it best they have new growth like alot. How would you attack closer to the roots if it's like 2 inches of new growth

I usually start wicks with alot of new growth, its much easier

Thank you! It just takes practice. Wear a guard on your finger and keep at it! Just move it In and out you dont have to twist it like I do. It grabs more hair that way but you should focus on the basics first.
