    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    Hello, guys. Today's video is a part of the self-improvement videos that I've prepared for you, whether you're an empath, an introvert, a highly sensitive person, or even an extrovert. Self-respecting ourselves is necessary, guys, and we should make it a priority as well. And in doing so, we can't tolerate certain acts or behaviours because they're simply harming and manipulating.
    It is having a full understanding that life is all about accommodating and accepting people despite their weaknesses or flaws. So, if people can't accept us or even try to manipulate us, then we can't tolerate such behaviours.
    Accommodation is used in the sense that sometimes, it is not convenient to do. This is because no set of individuals can have a perfect match of understanding and view about everything in life. Even if not much, but there are slight differences in each person.
    Nevertheless, here are some behaviours a self-respecting person will never tolerate or cannot accommodate. This is because such people are made to be that way, or, let's say that their temperaments generally make them repel such behaviours naturally. So, we are going to be considering some of these behaviours in this video, guys.
    Please watch the rest of the video to see all lists ...

    I have always done better achieving my goals when working basically on my own. That does not mean I don't interact with people at times, but I get way more done and am far more happy when I plot my own path without trying to accommodate a lot of outside interference !

      And to add too 3#. If your have to compel, coerce, or otherwise charm someone into getting what you want, you probably have issues with self worth and esteem, and need to see a therapist. Make yourself an appealing person of interest through your own actions and none of that will be necessary and you'll be all the happier for it.

      @@amberlafage8361LaFage, I do not know your situation, but I know that children are a huge motivator for the desire of security. I have never desired wealth and I have come to hate what it does to people. I have no children because I could never attract a woman for a long term relationship. the reason for this is because I don't desire wealth or even middle-class status. This makes me a pariah to seriously minded women, and this has cast a poor reputation for women in my heart. Therefore, your concerns for wealth have caused me to immediately see you in a bad light, and this is not likely to change. I hope that you find happiness with your avarice. I am satisfied with my soul.

    • @amberlafage8361
      @amberlafage8361 Před 4 lety +10

      James i was simply disagreeing with your generalization that 'an empath is not overly concerned with success and wealth'. Success and wealth are a catalyst to free time to spend with family and feeling secure. If you would have worded the statement differently, perhaps discussing a disinterest in power, i would totally agree. But not being concerned with money is not caring about: food, shelter, time, family security, etcetc. Logically that is a pretty odd thing not to be concerned with. Maybe you have learned to associate money with some negative situations in your past? But to each their own!
      I am now going to make a generalization of my own... empaths are not typically judgemental and respect others opinions without 'seeing them in a negative light'.

    • @AnnaLVajda
      @AnnaLVajda Před 4 lety +9

      Wealthy people are often the worst if they think that having money makes them somehow better than everyone else automatically especially if they have no talents or work ethic themselves. Some people change because of money too because they are not authentic people. If someone is a good person then having money will just be a bonus. Abusive people use money for evil purposes.

    It took me a life long journey to stand up for my belief and integrity. Even as a young person, I know what my heart was made off and what push me over the edge, but I was always careful not express what I felt in order to not push people away so I am not left alone, since much of what I saw and felt from them wasn’t good things, so I know that if they are confronted, they will wiggle them self out making it look like that I was the negative person, false accusing them of things base on my intuition. Only few years back, I told myself that I had enough! No longer did I care for what they will do or think of me for speaking out and confronting them when they over step their boundaries. I never been so in peace in life after removing all the fakers, back stabbers, users, abusers and liars out of my personal life. To no surprise, I have no friends as to the ones I had were all fake. Aside from my children, I also have no extended family only genetically related individuals. They were the people that I fear the most losing my entire life, but now my only regret is not standing up for myself sooner and freeing myself from emotional weight that it had on me all this time.

    While I do respect accommodating other people's, I have to sometimes say that SOME, not all people have such deep and troubling flaws that honestly? Despite every politeness and courtesy, you cannot accommodate them and either have to be blunt and point out their weakness or flaw, or flat cut the ties with them. It's hard to use that course of action but sadly? Absolutely necessary! I have dealt with many like that and rather than endure the toxicity of their "friendship" I had to just tell them no more. I hope you can understand this as for a self respecting person, this toxicity is detrimental and can make you sick and unhinged when you need your strength the most. Don't fear casting out these people, they manipulate and take what they cannot have and do not deserve.

There's a GM plant near me where people make over 30 bucks an hour to stand and put on a part. And they get amazing health and benefits. And they're in a union and screaming how they are underpaid. Some have been caught sleeping on the job, clocking in and leaving, taking 3 hour lunch breaks, etc. 36 dollars an hour wasn't enough for a man I know and I told him take the buyout they're offering 8,000 dollars and then a pay rate of 24 dollars. He refused. I think people at McDonald's who bust their butt all day should make more money, they work harder and most of them haven't gone to college either. The plant is closed because of a collective union greed and sense of entitlement. Before you get all shook the dealership was asking 10 grand over the MSRP. Did they actually give it to me, of course not. But yes I bargained and we both did just fine. If they can afford Mercedes and Teslas working as salesmen they are probably not hurting because of a fiscally responsible person like me. You don't know anything about me. I worked 3 jobs when my husband was very sick and we were selling furniture just to buy food, I went back to school and put all that I had into getting my degree so I could make a living out of helping others and feel rewarded for that alone.

    People have respecting me more lately and I don’t know what I’m doing right except loving myself and educating myself. That’s why videos like this are so good. 😊
    Also, at 35 I still don’t know what Quid Pro Quo means. Just use plain English! At least the video tried to explain it. It might be the first explanation of this concept, that I’ve ever heard.

    How annoying is it when one’s government constantly tries to rip you off everyday. Don’t even mention the rest of the everyday people one has to deal with.
    Everyone is always trying to gain something from someone else. Whether or not it’s beneficial for anyone in the long run is what people have to figure out

    • @Not-Ap
      @Not-Ap Před 4 lety +1

      That because few people today have core values or least none that they actively strive to embody. In the past people had Christianity and God to guide them. That was thrown out in the 60s/70s. People have yet to find a good replacement. So all that's left is a vacuum and the accompanying chaos.

    First learn the meaning of what you say, then speak -Epictetus
    To learn the true meaning takes more than just knowing the definition, you have to intentionally experience and practice the context in which the word Respect describes to truly analyze and understand it.
    re·spect
    /rəˈspekt/
    Learn to pronounce
    noun
    1.
    a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.
    "the director had a lot of respect for Douglas as an actor"
    late Middle English: from Latin respectus, from the verb respicere ‘look back at, regard’, from re- ‘back’ + specere ‘look at’.
    If it's a feeling, then it's a reaction, not an action.
    Newtons third law of motion.
    Then opposite of respect, is disgust.
    I don't have deep admiration for what is essentially misinformation, if I chose to feel otherwise, I'd have to lie to myself in order to do so.
    No self respecting person would allow their self to act in such a way.
    They would have to regard or, look at their self as a liar.
    I'd rather eat out of a dumpster with someone I can Respect, than have steak and potatoes with someone who is disgusting.

    I agree with the 9 behaviors, however, am resentful that you implicate that empaths, HSP and introverts wouldn't have these in the same proportion as other people. Being empathetic and highly sensitive causes people to want to be healers and helpers of their fellow humans which put us in jeopardy of being targeted by manipulators. The problem is, good manipulators will uphold all 9 of these behaviors... their true intentions and personality don't show until after a certain amount of brain washing has commenced, so then we try to 'fix' the problems that are causing our 'loved one' to no longer adhere to the self respecting behavior.

    I wonder whether it might make a huge difference in terms of folks being able to better absorb this content if you hired a native English speaker as an editor BEFORE the script reaches the narrator. I found that the ideas here seemed a bit juvenile, and I wonder if that was in part because of grammar and syntax, and that’s a real shame, since it seems like you have something to say that resonates with a lot of people, even so. It just didn’t flow for me, though the graphic artistry, background music, and narrator were all great.
