Would you recommend these blades on plywood and the backside finish, is there any tear out which would require sanding to the finish cut(Back side cut-Plywood) ????
What's the model of your scrol saw?
Frank, .016” refers to the thickness of the metal from which the blade is made.
Watching the vid i noticed the wood bouncing in the back portion i saw where the foot holds and makes contact with the wood to hold down would it be possible to place a thin rubber sheet under the foot to help not make a dent in the soft wood ?
The scroll saw is from PS Wood. You can view it here. pswood.com/21-scroll-saw/
I am looking to buy #2 scroll blades for miniature woodwork but not sure which type of teeth style I should choose. Is jeweler’s blade a cheaper option to use on scroll saw? Which number of blade size is comparable to #2 scroll saw blades? Should I compare it based on blade thickness and width? Thanks.

Great Video but what blade would you recommend for cutting 1/2" EVA Foam?
thanks.
Hi Chris. I haven't done this before, and don't have a recommendation based on my own experience. I'd suggest contacting these folks and asking for a recommendation: www.flyingdutchmanscrollsawblades.com/

Why does the wood piece bounce like that while cutting?
Doesnt the blade twist and break when u turn it like that?
Hi Yasmin. The wood piece bounces because the teeth are pulling it off the table. The more aggressive the tooth pattern, the more it will tend to vibrate.
Scroll saw blades are generally able to allow fairly abrupt turns without breaking, but there are certainly limits, and scroll saw blades commonly do break. The smaller the blade the easier it is to turn within its own radius. Thanks.
Nice Video!
Did you changed the blade holder on your device?
I am dealing with this problem right now...
No, this is the stock blade holder.
@@Wwgoa It will be very helpful if you make a video about how to convert or upgrade blade holder for pinless blades.
Too many are dealing with this problem in their scroll saw
What would you use on bone to make small cuts?
Hi Archie,
I've never attempted cutting bone with a scroll saw, but I would think that a fine tooth blade would be best.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi there,
hopefully some one can answer my question. I have a scroll saw that uses 133mm blades. Can I replace them with 130mm ones or it won't work?
For plain end blades it should work because you have some wiggle room and I believe that there are adjustments on some saws, but I'd suggest checking with the saw manufacturer before you buy the blades just to be safe.
I have the pin end ones. But from what I notice, you still have some room as once the blade is attached, yo still have to put the tension on it. Which should work, as with shorter blades, I will have less "free space" for the tension.
I don't understand the comment about 16/1000 of an inch?
hi
ponderOsa pine
Ooo-oooooo...
16/1000 of an inch.
Right.
