      Sorry for the late reply Bro.
      Gym is a good way to increase weight.. However, a good diet plays an important role in increasing body weight. Please make sure you are gaining muscles and NOT fat during the weight-gaining process.
      As you mentioned about 20km traveling, cycling can be a great exercise as it acts as a pre-workout before Gym. Cycling activates your muscles and helps you to gain the maximum benefit from your workouts. Also, Cycling can act as a good cooldown / stretching activity after your gym session. It helps to regulate your blood flow and relieves muscle soreness. So, I recommend you to go for it.
