- I love making collage masterboards and using them in my crafting, so I thought I would share the love with you!
This video is a start of a mini-series in which I will tell you everything you need to know to make and use collage masterboards. I hope you will enjoy this project and join me in creating it!

I watched your relaxing video at normal speed whilst sick in bed, and your calm soothing voice was very relaxing. Also, the most curious thing occurred; as you were picking up the scraps one by one playing around with where to place them, I’d think “put it there”, and wouldn’t you know it? You would sure enough PUT IT RIGHT THERE EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! 😅. It was like you were crafting FOR me! Do you realise how satisfying that feels? And thank you! since I am too weak to craft with my own hands at the moment! PS one thing I lack is distress ink sprays. Will have to break down and invest unless I can make some! 😊❤
I can relate to having so many supplies! It just happens. I am in the process of organizing my craft room also. I have a large room and it’s soooo full of STUFF! Please do an organization video. I would love that. Your work is beautiful!

I loved your comment about how when making something without really thinking, seeing others’ work is always so nice and then you do it and don’t like it… I’ve always struggled with “randomness” as I feel like my brain always wants to sort, and line up, and coordinate, so abstract and random is a challenge. But I’ve been wanting to try collage work and make a tag style journal for a friend’s upcoming birthday so this pushes me out of my comfort zone. Love your creations!

That dictionary with the note in the back dated May 3, 1945, is 5 days before the end of World War II, which was celebrated in Europe on May 8, 1945 AND May 9, 1945. WOW!!! What a great piece of history!!! 🤗

I used some paper, old books and ephemera that I’ve been collecting for a long time, so I was kind of nervous cutting it into the tags and cards that I ended up making, but I love them! I have discovered collage fairly recently, I love it so much it is so relaxing, and very therapeutic. Then I use them in my glue books. Or as backgrounds for cards. Thank you for your great video, enjoying watching your creations. Looking forward to the organisation videos. X💖

Hey girl, I used my first master board today for a masculine bday card. I had never made one before but had so many scraps, I finally made one. I tend to load up my cards so I need that extra thickness so I was glad to have it. Yours are so beautiful and I can't wait to see the end product. I could watch you everyday, thanks so much!!!

It's all so beautiful and look forward to seeing your next video as to how you cut them up. When I make my boards (you can see on my channel) I LOVE to use digital images of women and vintage women from magazines. I often use straight edges on my master board and then when I decorate them I put other images over the top and often tear them, making them more 'tattered' than linear. I really loved your video. I've been wanting to make a collage master board for ages. When your video showed up in my subscriptions I decided to make one along with you. I'm happy to say I've finally made one and I love it! I hate to cut it up! I think I'll take it to the printers and make copies. Next time I'll make it 8X11 so I can copy it at home. @@TealandTattered Hi Martyna, I purchased this adhesive lace from the dollar store in Canada - I have to see if they still have some. In my art classes I always give other options and for this product my suggestion would be to add double sided tape to the lace. I will let you know if I find this elsewhere.

Thank you for watching Sheamarie! I'm so happy you enjoyed it! I used struggle with collage a lot but with a few tips (starting with bigger pieces and then layering smaller ones upon them, using 3 pieces of each paper, using rectangular scraps) I really started to get a feel of it :)

I felt the same way about sewing fabric. It’s very flimsy but with pins holding things together, it really is quite fun. The learning curve is steep but once you get how to sew in a straight line and follow a pattern, it’s wonderful. Try a small project at first like a scrunchie, mask or pouch.

I like to ink all my pages with Vintage Photo, too! I even inked the Father's Day cards I sent last year!! (Not the Mother's Day ones, though!!) I think it looks "finished".
