I use catalogs (30 to 40 pages each) to make a master board book. Each page is a different color scheme. I'm most comfortable working in a monochromatic settings. I probably have at least 10 books that are done (they are so pretty). I've been very brave and just started cutting them up for tags and journaling cards. I so enjoy your channel and look for to each video. Thanks for the inspiration.

I've thought about doing monochromatic boards, so I can use certain colors for tags. Or maybe 2 colors at the most on any board. Haven't done any, yet, though.

You're a lovely lady with lots of love that shines! I made a couple of boards using pva glue and 50/50 pva/water. It dried like plastic, and I didn't like them. I tried glue stick and it was really nice. I enjoyed the final result, fantastic.

This is beautiful. I love how when I watch crafting videos, I sit there saying "yes" and "oh no" in reaction to what the person crafting is doing, because it really highlights how differently we all approach crafting. Some good decisions seem universal, while others are very much subjective, and that's what makes art so wonderfully varied.
This has inspired me to try gather materials to make some masterboards to work from for my horse journal, since I'm really struggling with coming up with ephemera pieces for it, and this might jumpstart some creativity for that.

Thank you for taking the time to really explain what a masterboard is and what to do with it, other than cut it up. I tried one a while back and was so unhappy with it, I didn't think they'd be worth my time. You've really re-inspired me to make another one. I hadn't thought about the difference in paperweight and how that may effect it. Nothing I'd seen so far had even addressed that.

It always amazes me how beautiful the individual pieces turn out once they're cut from the masterboard. Yours are lovely. I like how you just cut them blindly too. I've never tried that but might do it next time.

I make my masterboards on poster board or cardstock usually and turn them into ATCs or journal covers.
I love how this masterboard turned out! I'm going to try it with some free ephemera I'd printed out, but wasn't sure what to do with. Thank you for this tutorial! I'm new at this, so for now, free is what I want to go with, till I get better at it, that is. Thank you again, and have an awesome day!

Great master board! You can use magazines or catalogs you get in the mail instead of coloring books for master boards. Some of them have the right paper. If the paper is thin glue two pages together. They work out great. Thanks for sharing. 🥰💖

I use magazines for the same collaging style that Tina uses I have those more readily available. I love how this turned out. I'm gonna have to play some tonight with my unused ephemera also!

Margareth, I use old calendars that are the calendars that kids use for school. You might try something like that. I love you collage and I love doing them too!
My daughter buys shoes from the men’s department all the time. She says they are comfortable and fit better.

I'm surprised you seemed to completely cover the encyclopedia page and not leave any showing. You could have used a plain white base? But, LOVE the outcome. I also love how fast and confidently you work, haha. I'm new to collage and very hesitant.
I use the catalogs that come in and my favorite is the brown packing paper that comes in packages

I buy men's shoes sometimes mainly because I have big feet and men's shoes are easier for me to find and often cheaper than womens. I do this for my work shoes mainly as my work shoes take a beating and get very stained as I work in a restaurant around a lot of grease and bleach and things.

It is not weird at all to buy men's shoes....I always buy men's shoes my feet are quite wide ( thanks to my dad.😂😂) and ladies are never wide enough. It's all about comfort I find......💖

I know have a sizzix big shot switch . But honoustly , start out with a manual cheaper one . End result is just the same 👍🏻☺️😁
