Hi Nina, I was one of those people who felt a bit overwhelmed by collage although I so wanted to make some. You, as usual, gave me the confidence to have a go and I so love them. I made a collage canvas for a friend's birthday and she was delighted and I really enjoyed making it. I love the way you work with all the various pieces, your choices are always perfect and nothing ever looks out of place. Thank you for sharing, Nina and making collage look so easy.x

I watch to learn and enjoy meeting others with common interests . I often hear some people on their channels say that they get bad comments? I feel that if you dont like it thats fine but no one forces you to say anything , When people dump on you its because they cant deal with their own stuff. I have found that watching you and other channels helps my anxiety. I look forward to hearing your voice and encouraging things to try and I think we can all gain more in this life if we love more and be less negative. Im sorry that the person made that comment but Im glad you left it up so i could respond. Please don't let it get to you as we need you heaps. Kind regards Linda.

A great idea for your 1st prompt of the year. I've watched kylie's 1st video for this group too . It is a wonderful plan to show two people's very different ways of using the prompt . For this one you've used lots of straight pieces for your background and kylie has been more oraginic. Love both ways of doing things . Hope 2020 is a good year for you . Thank you Nina

Definitely vintage is not my strong suit, I don't even know if I can gather enough bits and pieces to pull one off but I shall give it a go. Yours are truly beautiful. Looking forward to a fun new art year!
Please don’t feel you have to do vintage Alicia as this can be done in any style you like. Check out Kylie’s video, as hers is a completely different style to mine. Happy creating 💕
I stamped and cut out images the other night. Thought I would get some handmade ephemera gathered and be on the ready. After watching this wonderful video, I’m excited to get started on some boards.

I love those masterboards. I couldn't believe all that you could do from one board alone! I will attempt to make one today but I'm a little intimidated with the whole process. Thank you for the tips on how to proceed. I'm new to all of this and I appreciate all the hard work you do in making these videos for those of us who want to learn. Thank you thank you!

I really liked your explanation of the copyright issue as well. I think some people have gone overboard in their rabid observing. Can understand why the issue, but ....

Absolutely gorgeous. I have a sister-in-law who is packing up her house to move to a retirement village and she gave me stacks of old magazines, recipe books, coupon books, advertisement flyers, hymn books and lots more goodies that were all printer in the 1960 and '70! Most before I was born! I was ecstatic. This is the perfect project to use some of it combined with my more recent/modern ephemera. Thanks so much for sharing 😃🧡

I have vintage magazine pages and whole magazines that are packed away here and there with other oddball stuff.
Now when I run across them during my decluttering marathon (well, ok...it's more like a 5K, but I'm TRAINING for the marathon! LOL), I can set them aside for this purpose. 👍🏻🙂
New subbie !! I don't facebook, so I have no idea how I missed your channel -- I am only at the beginning -- I came over from the next video -- which I haven't watched because I wanted to watch this first -- boy, did I hit the subscribe button fast !! I am in the US, and we simply don't have the wonderful vintage things you guys do, so I am soooooooo jealous -- ha -- I am recovering from the flu so I am bed bound and bored out of my mind -- so now I get to go back and binge watch your previous videos. I just relaunched my little craft channel -- I am just learning about collage, and I just put up a few videos to sell my Christmas journals -- my cat had kittens, we need to get them all fixed -- six hundred bucks !!! Yikes -- but it's so hard to put up videos -- everything had changed since my last uploads 2 yrs. ago -- and I had to learn how to use the video editing software -- which is wonderful now that I know how -- I swear the instructions were written by a man; they make no sense -- ha -- so thank you for posting. I read that mean comment below -- I thumb's downed her -- good reply -- I DO need an art lecture -- so raspberries to her !!!

Glad i stumbled upon you Nina. Thank you for generously sharing. What a great idea! My printer isn’t super fancy, but makes surprisingly good copies. This can be personalized in so many ways, using fabric scraps from previous projects, and old family letters and bits of artwork. You inspired me so much! Love love your work.

Just simply lovely...thank you for all the tips and suggestions on your collage...it is something that takes time to see with ones own eye of artistic looking to see that it is balanced and pleasing to the eyes of other looking at it as well. Happy 2020, Nina! And thanks for this. I was struggling with collage and kept hearing "just slap it on and don't over think it" well, I tried that and hated the process and hated the result. I never thought to separate out the back grounds and focus pieces, silly me! Now I will try again; first separating, then going for it without over thinking. This was a HUGE epiphany! Thanks again! ❤

You will find it much easier if you put a few cohesive pieces together first. Then try not to over think it. Happy creating 💕 xx
