  • r/Nuclearrevenge In today's episode, OP has to deal with an incredibly toxic landlord and his corrupt wife. OP gets tired of dealing with his landlord's harassment, so he decides to investigate some of his landlord's strange behavior. Why doesn't the landlord just file an eviction notice? Well, it's because the landlord can't legally rent out that property because he and his wife forged illegal government documents. OP uncovers their corrupt scheme, reports them to the cops, and watches as their entire family gets arrested!

The biggest irony in the second story is that all the slumlord needed to keep his dirt under the rug was not to be a jerk to OP's husband, simply wait for the rental agreement to end and provide any repairs they needed. But no, he decided that he was untouchable and messed with the last kind of person a lawbreaker should ever mess with.

    • @akl2k7
      @akl2k7 Před 2 lety +20

That's the thing: most people who break these laws are trying to get as much money or whatever right away (presumably by renting to a retiree for more than they rented to OP's uncle). It's the quick and highly risky path, as opposed to the slow but sure path of following the law, which generally gets them more money and less heartache in the long run.
      So, basically criminals are Sith.

I had a similar issue to the first guy. My stepsister decided that she wanted to get rid of me (family wise), so she went through this elaborate ruse that I was hacking her Facebook account from work. The problem is she laid out a ton of clues to what her plan was, so I was prepared for her final decision. She sent Mom a DM saying that she had proof I was hacking her account from work. So she was going to have me arrested by the FBI (and of course I would be fired).
I went ahead and spoke with my boss and the IT department. My boss basically said my sister was crazy, and the IT department said that she was full of shit. I then sent a kind letter to my brother-in-law, and I told him to control his Crazy wife or I would sue him. My mom, who was still on good terms with her (grandchildren), told her that I was doing work for an attorney. That was eight years ago, and she believed it. The grandkids are grown now, and the oldest has a restraining order against her.

The second story reminded me of these two roommates I had while living in linden and Whitehall Ohio.
    1. The first was a slum lord and evicted me because she doesn't like me. The thing was, I had a job and she wasn't the type of person I wouldn't be friends with. So I'm a ghost. Her house was falling apart and had roaches. Her dogs were not housebroken. This was on Linden.
    2. The other was rather abusive. She threatened to put me in jail. She tried to keep me for 30 days because of the money, but she fail to learn about Ohio state law of being a landlord. I rented weekly. If you want to move out, you can give a 30 day notice if you are month to month, but 7 days notice for week to week. And the bitch was a thief, too. @Phoenix8492 Před 2 lety +4

@@Willdroyd Nuclear is when your revenge is exacted in means that are questionably moral or legal to outright immoral and illegal, but most of the time the acts of the revenge target are heinous enough to deserve it. I’ll give you an abridged example:
OP’s Sister has a Scumbag for a boyfriend, drags her to a party, gets her unconsciously drunk, leaves her, and Sister is found by Stoner who violates her at the party. OP is driven to get revenge: Stoner and Scumbag work like clockwork: you can be guaranteed which time of day Stoner will shoot up and which alleyway Scumbag will walk down at a given time of day. It is not difficult to them _steal Stoner’s car_ and wait for Scumbag to appear before _running him over with Stoner’s car_ . OP returns Stoner’s car to exactly where he left it, and the police arrest Stoner and charge him with Hit-and-Run and Attempted Murder with a Deadly Weapon on top of drug charges: Stoner is looking at years in prison. Scumbag’s spine did not survive the impact and is now paraplegic; he has burned so many bridges with friends and family that he now lives alone, miserable, and paralyzed.
This is Nuclear: “you did something awful and rotten to me, so I will abandon all humanity and ruin you in the worst and most creative ways that I can; morality be damned, I will bury you.”
Death is a possible outcome of of Nuclear revenge (read “My Granddad destroys the life of the guy who tried to kill my dad”) but is not the stated outcome; that is Supernova Revenge: Revenge in which a person’s untimely demise is the stated outcome (for the greatest Supernova Revenge story ever told, look up Eliahu Itzkovitz).

LOVE the last one. I am from central Florida and my nephrology transplant team is in Winter Garden, so I am quite familiar with the area (unfortunately). I think I remember reading about this on my online local news site when it went down. Poetic is what this retired Seminole County deputy did. It almost seems like OP is alluding to her husband being former I.A. If so, he is VERY familiar with internal investigations and doing research on the down low. More power to him. My hubs is a retired federal cop and he says “once a cop, always a cop……you never stop being blue”. I’m glad they took the corrupt scum down.

He mentions the brown recluse spiders, which I would like to mention that was the worst out of all of the issues. In case you are unaware, brown recluse spiders are one of the most dangerous spiders, and on rare occasions can kill. Someone sickly who could not immediately get help would have a high chance of dying! I’ve been warned since preschool to never get near one since they can kill. That man nearly died! That slumlord literally almost killed someone!

I ended adopting my cousin because her mom, was a serial dater. She would leave her 3 kids alone in a dirty nasty house for 3 days to a week. My little cousins called me all the time saying they were hungry. My mother in law and I would constantly take care of them. We bought their first Christmas presents and threw their first birthday parties. I hate that they had to go through this. The one I adopted said she would hurt herself if they reunited them. So my cousin got her other 2 children back and I, ended up adopting her. Cps paid for her lawyer. I have had her for 13 years now. She has grown up to be a bright, beautiful, respectful woman. I am so proud of her. She has come a long way.

Oh my glob. When I heard the fact that OP's ex texted him when she and her new bf had coitus, that was a HUGE red flag for me. NOBODY should be gloating to their ex about something like that! UGH!
And the fact that she LIED to OP that she was in love with him only to use him for laughs was terrible.
You know, I couldn't have been the only one that read the title and went "OP, big time butthole move!", but then listened to the story and, yeah, not the butthole.

As someone who was literally forced to live in a tent *when I was 13* those comments from the family seriously pissed me off. That's the same sort of stuff my entitled grandma said before she kicked my family out onto the street. "Just go live in a homeless shelter lol." Ended up forced to give away one of my dogs and we lived in a shitty trailer for the next 4 years, but we're thriving now and she's constantly broke begging for help on Facebook. I hated her for those 6 months of living together, and we have never spoken to her in the 10 years since then.

Just a note to listeners here that only listen and didn't read the story being told with Story 2. rSlash accidentally called the Slumlord OP's husband several times in the story, when the slumlord and OP's husband are different people. So when you hear about legal actions being done against the husband, it was actually the Slumlord. The aunt and uncle were also Slumlord's. rSlash might need to rerecord the last story if this error bugs people.
