Quick tip on how to keep the ball joint from slipping on a drone tablet holders without over tightening the clamping nut. Some of the larger tablets are so heavy that the tray will slip and fall out of place but with some carefully placed o-rings the problem is solved.

Superb fix Dave, thanks for sharing.
I’ve just found a couple of O rings to try it out and I feel a lot more confident tightening the nut. Like you say, less purchase is required on the nut and it secures the full size iPad perfectly. There are stores in my area that sell boxes of assorted O rings for the equivalent of a couple of dollars so I’ll pick some up next time I go out.
