all i see on that link are my subcriptions not notifications.... I see the bell... i want my gmail notifications back

@@Volaris27 Mine say either new or have the number of minutes since the notification. Maybe you don't have them turned on. Click the Bell then click the gear icon and see if they are on. Comments still come in as usual.

Thanks for this post. I've been scratching my head trying to figure out what the heck happened to my YT subscribed channels notifications in the Inbox of my Gmail account and now I know why. Never got the heads-up about this nonsense changes.

@gcjerryusc I wrote feedback to Google and got a reply: "Thanks - The more options available for a workaround the better!". Dave's workaround is much better. Just need to figure out how to make it auto without having to refer to the link he sent us.

Thank you for this video, Dave. I've been googling about this issue for some time now and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting gmail notifications anymore. Then, when I went into the settings/notifications, it didn't tell which way to toggle each button - if blue was on and gray was off or the other way around. Thanks to your video, I know the answer now. smh for youtube changing this setting.
I did the exact same thing you've done. Typed in got the same page and yes the only way to see if you got a new video is to check that bell. However, in that bell are also videos I've never subbed to. I don't like this at all and I believe it has something to do with the upcoming election.

"Notifications" has been replaced with "+" inside a circle, when I click on it, it gives me two options "Upload a video" and "Go live". I'm on a cell phone. I can only see my CZcams avatar and comments when I click on the "bell", after I click on "Subscriptions". Sometimes it was normal, but then I noticed "+" in a circle and thought nothing of it, then it went back to normal, now it is back to the new icon. I can only see the "bell" and "avatar" when I click on "Subscriptions" or "Library". This sucks.

My notification icon disappeared on my iPhone. I get the alert on the app icon but no notification icon on the bottom of the page when CZcams loads.

Thank you for the info.. I am having issue on my YT and cant figure out why for some reason I cant see the notifications that comes from CZcams itself. When I reached 100 subs i get notified by YT but when i reached 1k i did not get any even When i reached the 4k WH . Not in my gmail not in my YT notif although i would be notified that I got comments on my youtube or my subscriptions uploaded new video.I wish I could get answer to this because I cant find why it happened. I want to get notified updates for my channel.Thank you.
I think it's 100, 1k, 10k, 100k, 1000k, etc (No 4k).
Oh they dont notify if you reach 4k watch hour? I mean if qualified to apply for monetization? .. Another issue, I notice that if i dont react or reply to comments right away, it would be gone ..

I've subscribe to a CZcams Channel and also to selected videos i've commented on.. In both cases, have never received any email ... i just logged in to Dan Wood's channel and received new videos.. I would't have known otherwise..
Similar any notifications i get for comments left, i wouldn't have known until i logged into CZcams.. They are not in Inbox and not in Junk/Spam, so its a mystery.. I don't think ever gotten single email from CZcams.. Unless otherwise, i'm starting to believe this a Gmail issue, not the respective website issue. As its not only CZcams its happening too.. all other websites i have email notifications same, even though delivery is "enabled"

This will hurt our channels because people on Computers won't be pushed notifications. Cellphones will get them if they are turned on.

They have disabled replies to the link you provided - you can no longer complain. Guess they don't care how customers feel about their stupid decision.
The 0.1% might be true because i think they only register the chumps without AdBlock who love watching ads.
And there is not a dedicated adblocker for their mobile app as far as i know which may be the reason for this change.

When I found out that the notification icon in the browser doesn't contain all notifications, I found it useless and switched to email. Now it's email notifications that they have chosen to stop? So idi0tic of them.

I have been wondering and messing with settings etc. I am angry about this. Getting CZcams notifications in my GMAIL was very useful for me. The way it is now I watch WAY LESS of the channels that I am subscribed to. I hate it this way and do NOT like getting popups on my phone. I want that turned off. In my gmail I would see which is highlighted then I knew what I already watched and the ones I watched I delete. The way they WANT us to check under the notification bell is a pain and I barely go there now and I watch less videos.
I'm missing lots of my subscribed channels now I don't get Gmail notifications. It has to reduce viewing hours across the board.
Me too! I can't believe this is good for CZcams. Less traffic less watch time. They must have done it for another reason other than disuse. My mind can imagine all kinds of sinister reasons but it could just be damage control.
Thanks Dave. They just don't care. It is so easy with the email messages. Using the notification can be a real pain. The complaint channel has been disabled and people cannot comment any longer.

Use CZcams RSS feeds > 3rd party forwarding website [FREE!] > to your Email. It's a fix for NOW that isn't pretty, and you get ALL notifications from ANY of your channels you use, but it works.

Every time you tube make improvements it makes things worse and if you complain they take a sub off you, I am 120 subs check in a week and it will be 119 if I complain.

It's not a fix, it's just a help for a fix. This is a Reddit thread of mine. It has the original CZcams email HTML code. People can use it to make a program to notify about new videos - I made one in Python, for example. Maybe someone sees this and makes some site that does that (or not because maybe that would be very expensive? no idea). But at least for personal use it can work. *_PS:_* about the Subscriptions idea on the fixed comment, I use Improved CZcams (an extension for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge - the new one, but no idea for Opera or Firefox or others). I can set the main CZcams page there when I go to youtube.com. It automatically redirects to the Subscriptions page - which I don't use, anyways, but it's still good to have there.

STUPIDS THING EVER. I'm subscribed to 300+ channels, I never missed a video from any channels when it was there, now I miss all them, therefore channels have lost all my views.
If people complain from receiving video uploads in gmail, they can turn that off, WHY remove the whole feature. Google\CZcams are so fucking dumb.
Same here, I just don't watch is many with the email reminding me. I using Feedly but that just isn't the same. Such crap from CZcams for no good reason. People can turn them off if they don't want them so there is no need to get rid of the whole notification to email. The bell is not a good replacement so I don't use it.
