    I thought freezing them would thicken the mixture , this was a good video I was also thinking yo use toothpicks , skewers we’re a good idea 👍

    Hi love I started watching some of your videos. I subscribed and started making candied fruit. I love sour grapes I make like sour patch grapes. I just try to make nerd grapes I did the candy part but when they came out of the freezer all done you’ve been into them and it cracked but not soon after it was tacky sticking to your teeth could you give me any tips to fix that

      Hey, Thank you for watching. Sorry for the late response. I think it’s all in the temperature and mixture. Pineapples break down easily. It’s an error I have to fix on my part.

    What is the best temperature to put your stove on? Is high going to burn it and do I have to constantly stir it?

      I put my stone on medium. It will burn if it’s high. Yes, you should be watching it and stirring it because it can burn easily.

      Sorry for the late response. You can’t prevent the candy from breaking down. You might can slow the process down but i haven’t found a solution to that yet.

      Yes it is. So they won’t be too flimsy when dipping, and for the candy to stay on.

    What would you say the longevity is if I plan on making these for clients?

      I honestly haven’t tested that theory, yet. The longest I left in the freezer was for a day. The next morning they were still nice and dry (not leaking)

      Use parchment when making anything candy coated idk y but wax paper sucks when making candy lol

      At first, the bubbles are moving really quick. The bubbles will start slowing down when almost done/done. I really recommend having a thermometer

      Are you using a candy thermometer? The candy should crack easily.

    Hey girl ya pineapples look bomb. Question 🥲 why when I try to make other fruits besides grapes they don’t hold up. The shell gets soggy

      Hey, thanks for watching. I’m still trying to figure it out… grapes aren’t as wet/juicy as other fruit like mangoes, pineapples, watermelon.. grapes kind of have a “skin” that holds in the liquid, just like apples (when people make candy apples) . I suggest try creating your own “skin” by wrapping a fruit roll up on “wet” fruit before dipping. I may do a video on that.

      I did just as she asked, informing her about her audio, but I should've started with how well she did which is why I added it!!!
      SHE didn't get offended because I didn't say anything to offend her because it was not my intent, only to help her, which is the problem with most people who don't know, and probably why they ask!
      So if I offended your sensibilities then that's your problem, because it's not your video, nor did you ask for the SUGGESTIONS!!

      You have to spray vegetable oil on wax paper. If you use parchment paper it won’t stick as well as silicone place mat
