I’m sure it would be fine. Only a very stable genius would get so upset that his pride was hurt that he publicly destroys his own defense. This demonstrates great emotional stability and superb intellect.
Or as his supporters would say when he made a statement so dumb that even they couldn’t spin it. “It doesn’t make sense to me but I trust that he knows what he’s talking about. He must know something I don’t.” Or sometimes that last sentence is more aggressive “You don’t think he, the president, just might know something we don’t?” Yeah he knows that he’s bullshiting. Maybe haha.
I ALWAYS wanted to see him testify on the stand, with Ghouliani right there as his lawyer. Sadly, that's not going to happen, but it would have been such fun.
And all it would take is for the prosecution to state they think his brain is incapable of testifying. He would say he has the best brain in terms of braininess and volunteer to testify.
He'll say he forgot his glasses.
As I have told many of my friends, just let a narcissist talk, and he/she will keep digging a deeper hole for themself.

In September 2016, The Media Watchdog Organization; "Media Matters for Americans" criticized CNN, Fox News and PBS for failing to disclose Epshteyn's "financial ties to the former Soviet Union, which include consulting through Strategy International LLC for 'entities doing business in Eastern Europe' and moderating a Russian-sponsored conference on 'investment opportunities in Moscow.'" Why does that not surprise me.! LOL! Epshteyn admitted on National TV that he was at the Willard Hotel in an interview. And he lied saying the alternate electors were legal. It's time we ask ourselves, "Are you just one of those people who said the words of the pledge and had no clue what it means to live it out or practice it for EVERYONE in your life AND THIS COUNTRY??" I'm looking foreward to when ALL the GOOD AND HONEST people of this country will finally say ENOUGH from the last trump administration and ALL HIS ENABLER S AND LACKEYS and finally hold them accountable!! It may take a bit of time but I still believe in what this country can and should be..the Beacon of hope for the world we should be...and strayed so far from over the last 6+ years ago. Yes, I have prepared taxes since 2010 for companies to include H&R Block, Liberty Tax and Jackson Hewitt and under my own TPIN . . . Long story short there is an option or box to check before you submit paper work to the IRS that says basically you don't believe information provided to you is accurate. Especially if someone doesn't have receipts, court ordered documents to claim children after divorce or non substantiated value of properties/investments. A way to let the IRS know I believe you are lying to me and working for cash "under the table". And that just for lower and middle class incomes. The greater the risk the more the accountant covers their . . . Who wants to loose their lifetime earning potential over one lying tax payer?! No accountant wants to be caught in audit lying for their client - who would be that dumb. White collar crimes are costly and a lot of years jail time.
