broke my thumb after a drunk fight and needed operation (plate and 6 screws). Started my physio after 3 weeks in a cast on day 2 rn. Praying I get my full rom back asap!!
One question I have is my dad was using a saw and it cut off half of the farthest thumb bone where the fingernail is and it went flying in a chunks so he couldn't save the bone is there a way to have a surgery with a piece of metal or something to replace the missing bone?
Weight tennis ball was hit my dorsal side thumb’s phalangeometacarpal joint. But I can move my finger at all direction. Palmar side of thumb metacarpal region looks swelling,pallor and bluish green appearance. Are these broken sign or sprained?
I been through a distal radius Surgery my metacarpels and phalanges and wrist and thumb was broken total 11 k wires was implemented in the hand now the k wires has removed stiffness is there but I took an x ray of my hand after that my thumb mp joint is still broken what to do now
Hey, I’m not sure if my thumb is broken or not but I was at the park and then we were doing a competition and then my friend did a cartwheel and then she accidentally hit my thumb and then it started hurting and then I put something on it like ice and then I put like some cream on it not cream like it’s like helping a little bit but if I try to put my thumb down that it like kind of hurts and he kind of doesn’t want me to do it and if I try to put my thumb up it kind of does the same thing and is it broken or not? Please tell me
So a couple days ago I got hit by a baseball on my thumb. It hurts on the upper joint and it is a little bit purple. It sometimes hurts lower down on the inside of my arm. I haven't gone to the doctor but do you think that would be broken or just sprained? Also when I move it there is kind of a clicking or popping feeling
My thumb is broken and I have to put on a cast for 6 months and it hurts like hell 😢
