Love my Ford Maverick Tremor.
People want the Maverick because you can't really get small trucks anymore. A larger cab and longer bed would put it out of scope for those looking for a small truck and there wouldn't really be any alternative in the truck market.

@kevin1q2w3e if I wanted a ranger I'd buy one? I want a tiny ute that's good on fuel with a regular cab.
@@brodieobrien-pickering2202 a compromise would be of Ford added a midgate for more bed space if needed while keeping the same vehicle size.
@AK-IT would be a compromise, but not one I'm (and i think a bunch of other people) are interested in. I want a reg cab, 6ft or longer, tiny truck. I don't need to tow shit other than a 2000lbs trailer, and only infrequently.
@@brodieobrien-pickering2202 I agree, less emphasis on towing, and focus on compact pickup.
Though, crew cab is more popular because it is a people carrier, and can be secured cargo storage vs the bed.
If a manufacture had to make one truck, it would be a crew cab, and Iʻd at least hope for a mid-gate for people who need longer beds.
