Hearing engine blows the piston.. Smaller gas tank 18.2 vs 3rd gen at 21.1 gallons with almost the same MPG’s..still no hood gas struts for the price? My 2001 Toyota Camry had hood gas struts.. Bring back the v-6!

Many buyers want to avoid buying the first year production of a complete redesigned model, especially when there's a new power train without much reliability history. Toyota is moving to Turbo engine too fast. Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, Highlander and Grand Highlander gas models and the new Land Cruiser and 4Runner are all Turbo now.

The main reason they're not anything but SR5 on the lots, no TRD off roads

4 banger turbo, no good. Will never last as long as a naturally aspirated engine. Moved US based jobs to Mexico. Mexico quality is horrendous. price is 15K too high. I'll be buying a Frontier.

With the quality issues Toyota is having I'd wait 5 years before touching this thing. It seems just about everything Toyota is putting out now is junk. I don't like Ford's but I'd rather take a chance with a much cheaper Ford than I would with the expensive Toyota. My 2020 Camry was the worst new car I've ever owned and Toyota wouldn't even try to fix the problems. I dumped it before its second oil change.
