Mucho debería siempre el hombre alabar a Santa María y su intercesión.
Pues buena defensora es aquella a quien Dios quiso por madre, siendo él su padre y ella hija y criada honrada y amada para llegar a tanto, que sin igual es apreciada y alabada y lo será para siempre.
También debemos alabar pues Dios nos honra al perdonarnos de los pecados que cometemos; pues bien vemos que debemos por ello sufrir, mas creemos y sabemos que ella nos puede proteger.
Exaltarla sin falta debemos, pues intercede bien ante Dios, y siendo señora por nosotros trabaja y lucha y controla al diablo y lo detiene, para que no vengan los enemigos ni nos puedan atacar.
Es por eso que le pido que no tenga en cuenta lo que dicen los demás porque soy su devoto y voy alabándola y cantando en su honor, procurando y buscando cómo la puedo honrar.
Pues que les dé las recompesas que ellos bien merecen porque tan mal me agradecen mis cantos y mi música y los pensamientos y los esfuerzos que por ella quiero afrontar; tan malvados corazones por tanto me expondrán.
Y que ella se apiade de cómo perdí mis días buscando vías y caminos para levantar una heredad de verdad y de lealtad, sin llegar nunca a pensar en la maldad y las falsedades con que me quieren matar.

A man should always praise Holy Mary and proclaim Her goodness.
For surely the One should be proclaimed whom God chose as His Mother and, being He Her Father and She, Daughter and Handmaiden, caused Her to be so greatly honored and beloved that without equal She is estreemed and praised and so shall be as long as He shall reign.
Likewise we should praise Her because of whom we are honored by God and also pardoned of the sins which we commit, for we believe that we should suffer for this, but we believe and know that She can protect us.
We should speak well of Her, without fail, for She speaks well for us before God and is our Defender and works for us and attacks and combats the devil and causes him to be of no consequence, unable to do us harm.
Therefore, I beg Her to pay no heed to what evil folk say, for I am on Her side and I constantly praise Her and I sing for Her, ever pondering and seeking ways to honor Her.
May She give them the rewards they deserve, because they so little appreciate my songs and melodies and verses and poetic dialogues that I compose for Her, for they reveal base hearts to me in this.
Furthermore, may She have mercy on how I wasted my days seeking ways and means to give wealth and inheritance where I could never find truth and loyalty, strive as I might, but instead, malice and falseness witch which they try to kill me.
