"Ever since Milli Vanilli I've been screwed!"
It's funny even with context.
Had me rolling on the floor…!!!!
Four Seasons"My Eyes Adored You".Besutiful song.
I remember seeing Frankie sing that on American Bandstand, damn I'm old.
the track was released as a FRANKIE VALLI solo track. Look at the label on the record.
My favorite
If you're gonna do Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, you HAVE to do Big girls don't cry, Sherry & Walk like a man as well. 👌 #classics
2nd vote for Big Girls Don't Cry.
agreed
"Can't take my eyes off of you" as well!!!
Rag Doll. How can you not mention Rag Doll?
@@Gypsygray How is it possible you didn't mention any other than the one you did? ...
Frankie is the one in the denim suit. 🥰
The drummer is not Frankie, Frankie's the guy that sings on the 2nd verse with the really high New Jersey voice
Frankie was having hearing issues at the time this was recorded, so he graciously delegated most of the vocals to his bandmates for this one. Thankfully a surgery restored most of his hearing in 1980.
@@berniemargolis4288 What’s amazing is that Frankie had poor hearing for years, even when making earlier hits. His 1st surgery for it (Otosclerosis) was about 1967. Per Frankie on the Mike Douglas Show, Sep. 3, 1975 (around the time they were making this album), he presently had only 25-30% hearing in his left ear & about 40% in his right, & had another surgery scheduled for Dec.
Yep,
Drummer is not Frankie,
Need to Check out the movie Jersey Boys to know about Frankie Valley!
Also look into Frankie Valley singing in the 60's with the four seasons if you want to hear how high tenor of a voice Frankie Valley had in his day!
Walk like a Man
Sherry
Big girls don't cry
All 3 songs are from the 60's
@@motleycrue98 Definitely not. The drummer is Gerry Polci.
The group “playing” in this vid are, from L-R; Lee Shapiro (piano), Don Ciccone (behind Frankie), Gerry Polic (drums) & John Paiva. I’m almost positive that’s Bob Gaudio playing the role of the Soda Jerk.
Love this song. You'd like Grease by Frankie Valli. It was made for the movie and written by Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees.
Grease is the word, is the word, that you heard 🎶☺️
LV strongly suggests this recommendation and further suggests the movie if you ain't seen it yet
Yes must check out the movie Grease
Yes!! I love Grease.
Yes!!!! The song AND the movie 😎
There's a movie "Jersey Boys" that is the true life story of Frankie and the Four Seasons. Great movie about a great group.
The movie is NOT a true story about the 4 seasons. It's a movie VERY LOOSELY based on the 4 seasons. the producers of the movie admit that. There is some truth. But it's mostly BULLSHIT!! And the timeline is completely F'ed up. It's a Rick Elise production based on a Rick Elise point of view. Do not take Jersey Boys as a documentary of the 4 seasons,(or Frankie Valli) at that matter. Because it is NOT!!! If you want a more accurate story of the 4 seasons. I recimend you buy the box set. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons classic albums C.D. That has the time line in order. And you will see how soooooooo much of the real 4 seasons Rick left out. The part that upsets me the the most is that the movie TOTALLY omitted the 1975 Four Seasons. The Four Seasons that really recorded WHO LOVES YOU and DECEMBER, 1963. they put the song tracks in the movie. But the movie gave the impression that the original 4 seasons came back to record those tracks. THEY DID NOT !!!! Gerry polci, Don Ciccone, John Pavia and Lee shapirio recorded those tracks. The DAMNED movie NEVER mentioned them once!!! Not even in the closing credits. so NO!!!! It is NOT a true story about the 4 seasons. It's just a Rick Elise production.
excellent theatre adaptation too, really enjoyed it :)
Frankie is a legend. He has been making music since the 50's.
Oh and Walk Like A Man is a really great hit by them too
this song was so popular back in the day, you could barely pass an hour before someone played it again. Frankie is not the guy on drums...Frankie is the other guy with a high pitched voice
"Sherry" (1962) was their first hit. "Big Girls Don't Cry" (1962), "Walk Like a Man" (1963) are a couple more.
Everyone should have a night like this 🙏🥖😍😹 or several
Great Comment! I absolutely 100 percent agree💗
Great Memories & Good Vibes😁
@@farrahlynne7121 😘😘
I agree with the other good people that suggested “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”. I would add “My Eyes Adored You” by Frankie Valli (w/o the Four Seasons).
Ummm. True these are Frankie Valli SOLO efforts. But THE FOUR SEASONS do the backing tracks. If fact My Eyes Adored You was to be a FOUR SEASONS single. But Barry Gordy of MOTOWN records refused to release it, Larry Uttal of the NEW Private Stock Records released it. But he would only sign Frankie Valli. So the track was released as a Frankie Valli SOLO.
My Eyes Adored You brings me sometimes to tears, so beautiful!
Damn I wish I'd grown up in that generation. Such smooth tunes back then.
Oh no! You'd be old now! 😂 You good ; just keep listening to our greats on CZcams. In parting ,I wish you Love! Peace! And Sooul! 😃
@@elisageorge1798 I'm 28, which is an awkward age. All the actual young people think I'm old and all older people say I'm still young. 😂
You should do frankie vali and the 4 seasons cant take my eyes off of you
YES he should!🙌
No doubt

HELL YEAH ❗
Soooo goood
Great song by a great group.
“Rag Doll” is another must-see by Frankie and the Four Seasons.
Frankie valli and the four seasons is an amazing deep dive, they have MULTIPLE hits and a movie AND a musical (which is fantastic saw it at the Orpheum in Minneapolis)
Frankie, Baby! And if you think his voice is high in this one, try their song Shery!! Another great reaction, my man!
Around the same time they did a song called "Who Loves You" which is another good one.
I took my mom to see Frankie Valli sing with the Houston Symphony about 7 years ago. His voice was still perfect. Incredible. My favorite song is Begging You, because it's so different, but Can'tTake My Eyes Off of You, and Walk Like A Man are probably his greatest. But his whole songbook is full of hits. I think he's touring now, at 87 years old.!
You need to see Jersey Boys it’s their story. It’s fantastic. If you can’t see it on stage find a bootleg or something online.
I have watched that movie 13 times!
Clint eastwood direction. Great.
Frankie Valli “GREASE IS THE WORD”🥰🥰🥰
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are Icons! I was 3 years old in 1963. I'm feeling old. LOL. However...age is just a number and your channel helps keep me young!!!
Yaaaaaassssss Frankie & The Four Seasons!!! They have a treasure trove of hits!! Sherry, Lets Hang On, Who Loves You, Big Girls Don't Cry.......
I grew up in the country of Turkey where there wasn't television or American music anywhere. My mother had brought her record player and albums with us. I was 6yrs old listening to this song in 1963! Memory Lane for sure.
LOVE Frankie Valli.....Leo the one playing the dreams and singing most isn’t actually Frankie though, the one on the stool that u asked about is Frankie!!!!!!
That’s what I thought. It’s been a long time, though, and I wasn’t sure.
Gerry Polci is the drummer and lead singer on this song. There are no "Leo's" on this song.
December 1963 is when my parents met. This song holds a special place in my heart.
Frankie!! The Jersey Boys!! I was waiting for you to dance LOL!
Frankie doesnt DANCE!!!! The MOVIE WAS full of BULLSHIT. The Movie was a made up story very LOOSELY assosiated to the 4 seasons. There was some truth. But it was mostly BULLSHIT. and the time line was totally F'ed Up!!! TOTALLY!!!! Go watch youtube. You will see. In the 60s' 70, and 80s THE FOUR SEASONS do NOT Dance!!!! They play instruments.
Love Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons!

IMPOSSIBLE YOU DON'T KNOW THIS ONE
By FRANKIE VALLI
Song 🎵 is 🔥🔥🔥
" CAN'T TAKE MY EYES 👀 off you "
Keep the good work Sunshine 🌞
I was born in December 1963, at 8:30PM oh what I night, I remember it well, but it seems like a lifetime ago.
This song is played at every white function! I’ve heard the song a lot, but have never seen what they look like. Thanks for another great reaction Leo! 🎼🎧
Frankie was the one sitting on the stool, not the drummer. Gotta love how they spread the vocals around. :)
This is one of them toe-tapping songs that whenever it plays, you can not hold still.
Can't take my eyes off you , Grease, Sherry, Big girls don't cry, Tell it to the rain, awesomes songs by Frankie Valli and the four season.
Frankie, his name is Frankie lol this has always been a favorite, more from Frankie ~ let's hang on, who loves you, walk like a man, can't take my eyes off of you or big girls don't cry, all of these songs were huge hits...♡
My dads favorite group. Every weekend that’s all we heard. Love my mug. Will be getting a shirt also . You are the best entertainer 🙂
Four seasons/Frankie valli and the Four seasons are one of my favorite bands! They have a lot of great hits!
I loveee Frankie! Always have. Great voice!
Frankie is sitting on the stool. Great song, great vocals.
Back in the day they played this song on the radio and it was just a great song, but now that I listen to it, it sounds a million times better. It's just a fantastic song. THANKS for the post my friend.
The drummer/singer is actually Gerry Polci. He was a senior percussion major at Montclair State College in NJ when I was a freshman in fall of 1971. Frankie Valli is the guy sitting on the stool.
I've known all the words to this song since I was little, I'd sing along to this and Big Girls Don't Cry with my folks all summer! The good times.
I have always loved this song
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have a TON of great songs..
It is indeed a one night stand.
I felt the rush like a rollin ball of thunder
Spinnin my head around and taking my body under
Billy Joel - uptown Girl ✌️
My husband and i really enjoy your videos🙂My mom and her friends danced to this song all the time-I was very lucky to have a cool mom. They called it the Hustle-NO-NOT Line dancing-these days that’s what they call it but nope!! The HUSTLE!! It was the ‘70s and life was still Disco tunes and so much fun!!
Love this song!!
YEESSSS! You have a deep rabbit hole with Frankie!❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉
"John Parr - St. Elmo's Fire" We need some 80's bangers, been a while now.
The 70s are more fun though ,
YEP THIS WAS A 70s Banger love the 70s
"Ever since Milli Vanilli I've been screwed. I've been questioning everybody" lol i know .. i know. Same here. Love from Australia
"as I recall it ended much too soon"
Most first times do, Frankie.
There's a blast from the past!!! My mama used to listen to this song all the time. Its a great song tho, you can't help but like its upbeat happy feeling!!! Awesome reaction too!!
The song features drummer Gerry Polci on lead vocals, with , the group's usual lead vocalist, singing the bridge sections and backing vocals, and bass player Don Ciccone - former lead singer of The Critters - singing the falsetto part ("And I felt a rush like a rolling ball of thunder / Spinning my head
Gerry was Frankie Valli's son-in -law.
You are CRACKING ME UP
The drummer is Gerry Polci. Frankie is the one who held the earphones up to his left ear. The third guy, who sang the falsetto, was Don Ciccone. It is a little different lineup, because usually it was Frankie who sang lead, and often in falsetto, for which he is famous. But they changed things up for this song. This was pretty much their last hit as a group (1975). Frankie had a solo hit with the song Grease, from the movie of the same name, in 1978.
Sounds just as fresh today. Love their sounds.
I have heard this in bars on all 5 continents, this song is truly universal.
The dance mix version of this will get you moving! 💃
When I was a senior in high school (late 90’s), this song became popular again. So much so that the junior class voted Oh What a Night to be the theme for the Jr/Sr Prom. Admin heard about that and put the kabosh on it. Had to go with the second pick, Midnight Masquerade. Mini revenge ensued when we got the DJ to play the song 3 times in a row on Prom night.
So man talented people in this band. Sherry shows off Frankie Vallie’s voice the best.
Love how you were jiving and getting down. I was only 11 years old when this came out, but damn I loved his voice. He had so many top hits after that. I was so dumb at that age, I thought they were singing about getting together to have a malt, and hamburger. :)
My favorite thing: how you enjoy music, whatever the beat you hanging on for the ride!
One of the greatest groups of all time. Frankie Valli is now in his 80’s and still doing. They have dozens of hits. Can’t believe you never heard of the 4 seasons. But now you have. :)
Love this song! I wasn't even born yet but the first time i heard it i was hooked!
Actually, Frankie Valli was the guy sitting on the stool singing the chorus.
Lol "I think he's singing about a one night stand" had me laughing
"what did she do?! .. what did she DO do DO.." 😂 also I died when the motorcycle started revving it's engine 🤣🤣
Franky is the one who sang he has a funny feeling, ha ha. I love this song.! 💕👍
Excellent song
Yessss! Groovy classic right here!! ❤️💃💃💃 edit: Frankie is the very one you asked about- on the stool, in denim, holding the headphone to his ear- vroom vroom!!! 🏍 😂
His name is Frankie! I saw them in concert in 2019. Amazing!
Love the contrast between the T-shirt and the song....I love it. Love both bands
Love this reaction!
I remember when this song came out I was in 6th grade. I brought the 45 in for music class. The kids loved it. 🤣
I remember seeing them in concert and Jay and the Americans introduced him as the little bastard. Sigh just aged myself more.
Awwwww, your happiness 😊
They started having big hits in the early Sixties. The first album The Beatles ever released in the U.S. had The Beatles on one side, and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons on the other side. True Story. They're kind of valuable today. Their later hits in the Seventies are wonderful also. You should react to "Swearin' to God" and "My Eyes Adored You". But their Big Disco Hit was "Who Loves You" and it is definitely their greatest dance song ever. You can't listen to it without wanting to get on the dance floor!
Hahahaha!!! “Ever since Milli Vanilli, I’ve been screwed, I don’t trust anybody!” 😂😂😂😂😂
There's a Broadway musical called Jersey Boys made about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and a movie as well. Another of my favorite musicals about a singer is Beautiful. It's the story of Carol King.
I have to thank you Leo! Watching your reaction put the most genuine smile on my face and that hasn't happened for a while.
Peace.
Cheers!
Once again, performers before auto tune, they have to be appreciated.
I sung this for an audition, and got the part. I love this song.
My favorite Frankie Valli song is "Who loves you" ❤❤❤❤
Gerry Polci is the lead singer on this. He was the drummer in The Four Seasons, and a late addition to the band Frankie Valli only sings the prechorus parts (..."I got a funny feelin' when she walked in the room
Oh my, as I recall it ended much too soon...")
I was 16 In 1976 When this Good feeling song was released ,I was walking By the High school in Kodiak Alaska It was on a car radio going by , Loved The Vibe , Still do.. I Love the 70s BABY
Frankie Valli is in front in the blue shirt with the curly hair, the rest of the guys are the Four Seasons.....check out the song (Grease - by Frankie Vallie)
Great song. Makes you want to get up dance like no one's watching. 💃
Saw Frankie live about ten years ago in Northern California - he must've been 70 at least - and STILL ROCKED IT!!!
I love this song it is a JAM!!
Such a good song. Timeless.
Frankie is in the blue. He is also featured in the movie Grease, in fact, he does the title track, which is also a great song.
Hi from South Africa I adore Frankie Valli, your commentry hilarious 😆😆
I've heard this a million times and NEVER knew this was Frankie!!
Thanks Mr video. I love that song. I was born in March 1963 👍🎶
That's Frankie Valli singin' the bridge.."got a funny feelin' when she walked in the room"... The drummer singin' the verses is one of the Four Seasons (drums, bass, guitar, and piano & Moog synth). "Who Loves You?" is another banger by FV & the 4S! The upbeat music kinda continues where this one left off!
LEO, I was 18. And this was the jam. Frankie Valle oh what a nite 😍 👌 ✨
🤣🤣I was only 2 years and 6 months🤣🤣🤣
This song is timeless! ❤❤
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. New Jersey’s own. Frankie Valli is the original Jersey boy. The Broadway show, “Jersey Boys” is based on his life with the Four Seasons. They started with doo-wop. Frankie and the group are known for their falsetto harmonies. Legendary. You’re starting with his later stuff. You need to hear their 1960s stuff. Loads of great stuff.
“Sherry”
“Walk Like a Man”
“Big Girls Don’t Cry”
“Rag Doll”
“Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You”
*Later stuff:*
“Grease” (from the movie/show)
“My Eyes Adored You”
“Who Loves You”
