Jake, thanks for even more infos and the very nice list, absolutely agree on most sets. Got myself a few of each #4, #10 and #14 some weeks before, #10 is my favorite because of the Golden Hermione of course (its also a nice set). Maybe going to get more of #10 soon and maybe also a few more #14 - but not 23 :)

I invested in the hogwarts clock tower and sadly it has dropped in value alot but luckily as you said, there were alot of discounts on that set

Thank you for posting this right when I’m about to organize my pantry! A couple thoughts: I totally agree that First Flying Lesson is the best HP set; just wish Amazon stopped having it for $37. I think HP fans are going to want to make the crests after they retire. They could release other moments sets, but there’s nothing scheduled to release as of now. And it’s pronounced “Truh-law-knee.”

We think alike … I went all in on 76395 for many of the same reasons in August 2021. I also remember reading that the gold minifigure in the set had a problem when manufactured so there may not be as many of them out there, which also ups the value. Nice to know I am not the only person betting big on this set. I also got a lot of the black & purple Hogwarts Moments and Fluffy.

I recall seeing that Hedwig is also retiring? I would think it will perform similar to Fawkes, but overall I think Fawkes will appreciate better over time.
Hmmm based on the three lists that I compared I saw hedwig retiring at the end of 2023. That being said I realized I made a mistake and misspoke. The hedwig is the b&n exclusive not fawkes. I would imagine hedwig could perform very well! But I’d hold off on buying it for now

I have some Fawkes and Clock Towers in my portfolio, and I pretty much agree with your ratings. I too got the Clock Towers at a steep big store discount but didn't see any similar sales for Fawkes. Any thoughts on some of the exclusive brickhead harry potter sets?

Good job on hoarding all those flying lesson sets, haha. Hope they will do well for you! Here in europe, they are still available at 25EUR. Too bad the golden minifig for that one is quirrell. If they made that one e.g. snape, then it would have been a lot nicer and potentially more valuable.
I think you are right! I’m surprised that the FFL hasn’t sold out in Europe yet. Here’s to hoping they explode in value

You aren't kidding about the First Flying Lesson. I managed to grab the last 2 in my area from Kohls. None to be seen anywhere else for under $45

Also, 75980, Attack on the Burrow is a Target exclusive and has a limit of 2 on Lego S@H. The way it was described in the video, it sounded like there were many channels to get it from in the United States.

I think the market in the UK maybe even high for Harry Potter bc the show is set in the UK. So I would definitely pick it up!

I am nervous this will be overhoarded but it is hard to go wrong at 50% off. You will have to hold it for a while though.

What do you think about "The Chamber of secrets" set? I just bought one for an investment at around 92$ (in Poland). Seems like a good set for the amount of figures.

You can at certain retailers but the only one that has consistent success is Amazon if you have a reseller account set up
Hi Jake, keep up the great videos! I always learn a lot from them. I'm considering doing some Lego investing and being a number guy, created a spreadsheet with sets, potential selling fees, shipping costs and inflation. After looking into it more, it seems like sets would have to go up at least 50% for this to be worthwhile. Would love to hear about your experience financially from this endeavor.
