I have to wonder though, what kind of power plant could Wargaming have dreamt up for Ushakov.
    It's based on mid-late 1940's technology.
The ship has a smoke stack, so it's not nuclear.
Even if they were to interconnect multiple engines in serial, or run multiple power plants in parallel, or heck, do both, what could possible output that much energy?
Not to mention how much fuel it would consume. There is no way a non-nuclear powered ship could weigh that much with outputs that high without consuming enough fuel to run a minor nation.
Wargaming can't justify this, there's no way on earth.

My only complaints there would be the considerably larger fuel capacity in the supercarriers as compared to a super battleship. Not to mention the quality of the Soviet naval R&D and industry in the late1940's. Considering the fact that light cruisers were an engineering challenge for the USSR, seeing them try and produce this behemoth would have been a treat to say the least. 😂

Ushakov armor is thicc asf and with tons of HP, that is basically inviting all Conqueror and Thunderer users to have a feast day, not to mention AP and high Penetration HE bombers are still going to have a field day.
The new IJN CLs though, with good speed, relatively narrow hull with decent citadel protection for their class, good range and the classic IJN ballistics, they are going to be the new long range HE spammer.

Also, @Flamu, to put it into even more perspective, the most powerful steam turbines ever fitted to a ship of her time (in the late 1950s) the SS United States, produced a mere 240,000 hp. The Iowa class BBs for comparison have 212,000 hp, and are the fastest battleships ever built.
So, yeah, considering the Wärtsilä RT-flex96C is the largest *single* engine ever built for marine usage (in the mid 2000s) at a mere 114,800 hp, the Slavaboos at Wargaming just picked a completely made up number that wasn't even feasible until the smart-phone era... in a "1949" design.

thinking a little bit it's kind of convenient for ushakov barbette to be 610mm.

the torps would not have "pen" to destroy the ushakov magazine leading to detonation

A genuine consideration on Tromp's weird armour layout; are they trying to achieve a similar effect to French spaced armour? Hear me out on this one:
That internal armour between the main belt and the seeming citadel is likely to have it's own hit location module, just like the bow/stern/superstructure etc are separated for every ship in the game. Looking at the game files through gamemodels3d, it seems to have an extra "simple_hitlocation" data entry than other DD's, which may be this in-between casemate area. Since this isn't considered a citadel (which automatically gets 165,500 HP associated with the module to avoid any saturation mechanics), then this middle section will saturate just like the bow and stern, although likely not as quickly since it'll have more HP than those due to it's size. As a result, you have the ability after a few HE salvo's to only take half damage in your midsection for the rest of the game. However to balance it out and add "unique" elements to it, if you use an AP shell that can reach the 'citadel', you can get higher damage and avoid the saturation that the HE would in theory receive.
I would be very interested to see someone perform some HE firing tests between this and another 19mm armoured DD, to see if there is this bonus saturation that's intended. This is how me, Yuzral, LittleWhiteMouse and many other CC's learnt about French Saturation back in the day, we might just have a unique variation on our hands here. Or WG just couldn't decided whether to make this thing a cruiser or a DD, so they left it in anyways. That could be it too.

Standard torpedoes during ww2 used steam later ones used electric motors which the up side of those was they left a less visible wake than steam driven ones however they had reliability issues. The Germans experimented with rockets and some today use rockets, but they often are used in sub-sub combat, and some have speeds like 80 or 90 knots. Like those stupid fast torpedoes WG gave submarines from the late 20s.
