    Idiotic premise. If Tottenham take points off City, Arsenal won’t “get life” in the title hunt, they’ll be a shoe-in on GD barring some final fluke. City needs to win or hope for a lot, a LOT, of luck on Sun.

    • @russellward4624
      @russellward4624 Před měsícem +1

      Disagree. Let's say City draw. The GD is only 3. City have battered West Ham the last 12 years they've been in the PL. Why couldn't City win 5-0?

      Yes, both “could” drop points…city could make up the GD last game…both scenarios are unlikely based on Arsenal’s play of late…thus, “city needs to win or hope for a lot of luck Sun”.

    I don’t see any chance Spurs win or draw. City are what, 20 games unbeaten in the Prem? And Spurs have lost 4 of their last 5? No chance at all. 3-0 City.

  • @yeonlee5
    @yeonlee5 Před měsícem

    Honestly, I expect our side to give 100% but I'm not expecting much. We lost 4 games out of our last 5. Our offense was the main threat against city, but it doesn't look like it can string 5 consecutive passes together let alone get a shot on target. It's so bad that our defenders are the ones who have to score. Meanwhile the high line is killing us because the only one I have confidence that can play it is VDV and even his positioning at times is questionable. Romero has been previously praised for his passing but he loses it in dangerous position, even against Burnley. The only chance we have of winning is if City have their off day where they miss a lot of shots against us because I could honestly see this being a heavy defeat. Like a 5-0 defeat. Could be even more

    • @pofcross
      @pofcross Před měsícem

      If the charges are fully held, the punishment if any is likely going to happen during the offseason. In theory, it’s not point deduction within the premier league. It will be multi-tier relegation. During the season, the league likely doesn’t want to risk its TV money.

    • @DBGray345
      @DBGray345 Před měsícem +3

      The reason those teams got points deducted is for breaking the profit and sustainability rules. It was totally cut and dry: rule broken, punishment issued. I don’t think it should be points because it punishes the players, but that’s the rule. The PL has yet to prove City did anything wrong, and the court for arbitration for sport has overruled UEFA in accusing City of wrongdoing. So it’s MUCH more complicated than breaking the PSR rules. And it’s also taking so long because they haven’t proven City did anything wrong. 🤷🏼‍♂️
