yup same here, I dropped 25kg over 9 months with exercise and clean eating and good hydration and IF. I celebrated by going out and have a meal at a pub close to us and I had a 'nice' desert. I dont think I have never felt so bad after coming home. I had a terrible headache, my lower tummy was bloated, I felt dehydrated and just felt sick in general. there was nothing wrong with the food, it was just my system not used to it. I wont do that again anytime soon, sheesh.

He changed my life as well. 2 years ago at 56 yrs I had a BMI of 40 and 10 month later after dropping a whopping 50kg (110lbs) my BMI was 23. He taught me that my problem was not being overweight or unfit. My problem was insulin resistance. Focusing on this I adapted my diet and eating habits to suit my sedentaty life style. After this the change really "just happened" and with that I got a more active lifestyle. Issues I had with high blood pressure and elevated sugar levels just vanished! His unbiassed lessons of how our bodies work are amazing!

One of my favorite quotes is from Jiddu Krishnamurti: "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." I first read this in the 1970s and always thought of it in psychological and spiritual contexts, but it obviously relates to physical health, too.

I 100% believe that if the population would follow this advice 90% of the health problems tha. are experienced in the world would disappear and that's probably a conservative estimate. It’s crazy how people are dying today of cancer and no one knows the reason. This man shows us why, it’s our choice to decide whether we die by cancer or not. I would probably die by a heart attack or cancer if I had continued my diet. I was drinking alcohol almost everyday, fried food, lots and lots of carbs every day and I couldn’t sleep without having a full belly, also I needed a big breakfast with a sugary drink and more carbs
I didn’t have energy for anything and was almost 270lbs
what I’m gonna tell you is no joke, in less than 4 months watching his videos, doing intermittent fasting and having a nice balanced keto diet alongside with some gradual exercising now I’m close to 210lbs and going down steadily. My ideal weight is 190lbs, I’m 35 years old 6’2” and now I’m starting to be happy about myself. Losing weight was never easy for me, but because I was doing it wrong, if you know what you doing and how your body works, what is good and what is bad, everything becomes so easy and fun that I don’t even regret about anything, the results I’m getting are way more important. I reversed diabetes, I would have a stroke at any moment, and cancer now is far from me.

U drinking alcohol every that is already an abuse, it's actually not bad to eat sometimes those fried food but don't abuse it like u said u eat a lot too much and u abuse it by doing it everyday,, we can eat just natural like fish , me I dont have that much budget to consume all the needed ingredients for a healthy diet cause that so much expensive like those probiotic foods so what I do as a poor guy is just eat natural that I can afford, I can eat some of them like fruit a 1-2 for fiber, just half rice(for energy), veggie soup, some vegetables, drink a lot and lot of water, never drink softdrinks ,juice etc just water,, some exercise like push ups everyday, quality sleep, vitamins everyday, also I don't smoke and drink. Just that as a poor guy but it helped me. I never get sick easily and when I do I heal quick, not every person can afford and consume all that food needed mentioned in the internet when I get every chance to get to a buffet eat all u can all I grab are those fruits and veggies, fish, some beef ,egg or pork for protein ,or seafoods that I can't afford I take advantage of it to my healthy diet, just want to say we can still be healthy by not abusing our body

Hurt my back in feburary. Took untill july before I could even be able to walk again. I've let myself go between being a single father and working and sports and just the daily grind. Realized while off work and hurt for 6 months I had to change. I've been watching Dr.Ekberg while I walk the dog a mile or two after work everyday. I start the day at 3 am and work out in the garage and walk a mile before work. Total of 10 to 12 miles a day walking between work and outside of work. Went to my doctor yesterday and I lost 27 pounds this last month! Before that I only lost like 12 pounds in 3 months and was feeling let down before this big loss. I still have a long way to go and need to fix my diet ultimately but it's a work in progress. Dr Ekberg has definitely helped me start the journey even though he doesnt know it..thanks.

Can relate. Had hurt my knees badly in the gym, couldn't walk, and then got a diagnosis of arthrosis which would lead to an eventual joint replacement. Followed medical advice of rest, to negative effect. Then, I started to walk, fast and eat low carb unprocessed organic foods. The weight plummeted, the knee pain went away completely, and I am now walking a 5 mile detour to work every morning. This channel was a major source of learning how to right what was wrong.

I was saying that mental problems (what in my opinion obesity is - addiction, no self control) are harder to fix than the flu. I couldn't believe what educated people replied to that. Bravo! I remember working at a public health event years ago- There was a display of an assortment of popular drinks ( including a bottle of water). Underneath each drink there was a plastic sandwich bag filled with the exact amount of sugar that was contained within the drink. Bottled water of course had an empty bag but the Frappuccino from Starbucks had a completely full sandwich bag of sugar! Shocking when you can actually see the sugar in a bag next to the drink.

Looking back on my life right up to my earliest memories I recall eating all of these things without reservations. It brings me to the realization that I have been damaging my body and it’s ability to properly function since childhood. Accumulate that kind of behavior over a 40 year stretch and I can understand better why I am in the condition I’m in. It also makes me realize why I can’t undo 40 years of damage in 5 years of being health conscious. It doesn’t undermine my determination, on the contrary. I have to balance out that damage with healing things. I only have another 35 years to go to undo what I’ve done

For myself I changed from sugar to sugarfree drinks that have sucralose in it instead, I changed my overall wellfare, lost 20kg from 100kg to 80kg, gaint muscle, I am more productive, and so on. It is bad, but better than sugar. But if you are a person that is able to get over the sweetener addiction, than just start drinking only water!
What also helped me, were protein bars, with no sugar, eating pure grain instead of noodles, eating enouth vegtebals and overall being aware of what the ingredeans of my food are. And making compromise so that I was able to do that stuff long tearm and not fall into old habbits
